MOST PEOPLE WERE. That's how he got away with his crimes for so long. I was a fan too, which is how I know all his dirty little secrets and the lies you all constantly repeat in an effort to confuse people about the fact that they found indecent images of children in his home. FULLY NUDE CHILDREN, in case you're unable to comprehend what that means. But those of us who have more than a passing familiarity with things like honesty and morality can look past his [waste of] good talent to see the man beneath. You're mad at the wrong person. Instead of wringing your hands over Beyoncé's continued artistic growth, relevance, and refusal to crumble under the pressures of fame (unlike some people), get mad at the man you adore who hurt children with impunity for decades. You won't though, because you're a lost cause, so stay in your struggle I guess. Quote You can talk to the wall now *exits* You think he got triggered?

Yes. 3 hours ago, luxurious said: the rock album speculation comes from when Amazon Italy leaked that renaissance was the first of three albums/trilogy - the first being dance and the other two being rock and country not true - rock was never mentioned anywhere https://www.reddit.com/r/beyonce/s/9UpUbhoIzM 1
Matangi Posted March 21 Posted March 21 The ONLY confirmations we ever received were the following: her saying in the Renaissance booklet this is a three-act project the Variety article confirming the dance/house direction and the country direction Amazon Italy saying the project is to honor and reclaim the influence of black musicians VOGUE saying she returns with an „abundance of music" the Dolly Parton / Jolene rumor was spread early 2022 (which is definitely true since Dolly Parton herself confirmed it) 2
Burn Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Because the heritage of her family is a focus of this album and since Solange is just as much a Beyincé as Beyoncé is, could this finally be the album we get a Solange collab? 4

CallumDavies Posted March 21 Posted March 21 (edited) Interesting thanks. I think the rock thing sounds a bit unlikely. I think it would feel less distinct from a country album. I think the third act will be the visuals which Es Devlin said were filmed during the pandemic. https://preview.redd.it/to-me-this-confirms-the-visuals-are-a-film-encompassing-all-v0-z7qxdbtlrmic1.jpeg?width=1080&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=4ec496abdb0c38a832521bd96937de26d47583a2 Edited March 21 by CallumDavies

However, apart from a couple of brief teasers (including a new one below), Beyonce had not released any videos from the new album at the time of this article's publication, even through the first single, "Break My Soul,” dropped more than a month ago. It seems possible that a video collection is a third chapter of the project, which was originally said to comprise two albums. Beyonce released a 65-minute film containing multiple music videos simultaneously with her previous solo album, 2016's "Lemonade.” " https://variety.com/2022/music/news/beyonce-renaissance-three-part-project-1235328471/ I found this article and they were saying the same thing... but the fact that in the renaissance booklet she said "this three act project was RECORDED over three years during the pandemic" makes me think that it's three albums imo.. i've never heard anyone say they "recorded" a film Edited March 21 by ReneighIsHere 1

BOAZ Posted March 21 Posted March 21 The rock thing make sense if we consider the "re-appropriating musical genres with black roots" supposed root of the trilogy project, which perfectly applies to House, Country and Rock'n'roll. Other genres, like reggae or hip-hop, wouldn't make a lot of sense because I don't see people considering those genres as being invented by white people Also btw we're focusing too much on the genre, I would focus more on the storyline aspect. Don't forget: this ain't a country album, it's a Beyoncé album. Renaissance wasn't a house album either - the influences were there but there was much more. I'm sure CC will also feature a plethora of musical inspirations. There's a reason for Renaissance be about liberation and her reclaiming the Beyincé name on the cover: the focus here is on her own storyline and roots, she has always used a lot of different musical landscapes in her music - B'Day, 4, Lemonade are hardly just "pop", "r&b" records. The point is that she talked about her influx of creativity during lockdown: she channeled that into an abundance of music, and then separate the tracks into acts to serve her storyline. Some tracks on CC are probably older than songs on Ren... 4 1
Havoc Posted March 21 Posted March 21 I know everyone thinks the visuals are gonna drop all at once for the acts but isn't dropping 40+ videos all at once a bit..much? Especially considering Ren will be years old at that point. I still stand that something went we wrong behind the scenes with the Rennie videos. We will see what happens with the CC videos 3

ToraeGilt Posted March 21 Posted March 21 This "reclaiming black genres" and "rock album" to complete the trilogy were narratives made up by fans. It was clear from the get go that she was going to release a three part project and there were hints of country and house but nothing else. I think y'all need not to set yourselves up when she does something completely different for act iii 2
chaeyonce Posted March 21 Posted March 21 A trilogy is a trilogy. Regardless of the genre (although it makes sense for it to be rock), I'm convinced act iii is not the visual film. 7 1

One more album is more likely to conclude this trilogy thing instead of a film/visuals.
