There is NOTHING dancehall about Renaissance and I love me some Rennaaaai okay?

the closest to dancehall we got these years is standing in the sun with Mr Vegas. I'm talking REAL dancehall : konshens / Mr Vegas / J Capri / Vybz Kareem / Gyptian / Popcaan / Spice…

As a part Jamaican... "Move" 100% has dancehall elements, and Melo-X popping up with old church-lady patois in the background was the cherry on top. "Already" from The Lion King: The Gift also contains heavy dancehall influence as well. If Spice, Sean Paul or Vybz Kartel did Shatta Wale's verse, I'm sure it would be considered dancehall.

Being aware of the bigger picture, I'm sure she has tried to avoid "full" dancehall in the construction of her 3-act project/The Gift as Rihanna has teased a dancehall album since 2017/18.

This may sound random as hell but since that other thread mentioned Suga Mama:

I wish she did like a B'Day medley of Suga Mama/Green Light/Freakum Dress/Deja Vu during Renaissance instead of Before I Let Go and Rather Die Young instead.

"That woman" but you're in her base begging for a crumb of attention. I know your fave is currently spinning and grabbing his crotch in hell, and you're feeling defeated and dejected because his legacy diminishes with each passing year, but what a sad state the Hee Hive has been reduced to. Clocking in 8 volunteer hours every day to spread misinformation on Twitter and bully victims of child abuse, then putting in overtime worrying about Beyoncé's flourishing scandal-free career. It's giving insecure.

this was a song for BEAUTIFUL and INTELLIGENT people and that's why not everyone got it like I do :-*

“AUIYM" and “Beautiful" are words that don't go together. Sorta like “Jennifer Lopez" and “Talent"

I'm personally hoping for the inclusion of blues & gospel on this album since those genres are closely linked with country. I'd love for her to put back on her Etta James wig for at least one of these songs. Never forget - it was the Grammy award winning POTS that had a vocal challenge started the first night of album release and I'm looking for MORE vocal challenges from this album.

First Usher has the highest viewed Halftime show, then he goes to the Celebration Tour, and is now pictured with Beyonce.
