Not impossible, but inclined to believe it's more than that. 

 

As others have clocked, they've occasionally dropped things simultaneously as her official site and at times a few seconds before. 

 

In the event they are an external "partner", preempting Bey's tea before it's ready (like this Shop Beyonce ish) would in theory count against their relationship with Parkwood, surely?

 

Which is why I feel it's all on purpose, whether they are in-house or not.

My theory is like many big fan accounts, they have multiple people who run it and have access. Someone from Parkwood probably has access (and lbr since we're dealing w bey, parkwood probbably has final say on how they run the account, which explains why they're very selective about what they tweet)

I don’t think we’ll get anything for days. Would they really set up a “enter your email to be the first to know when we launch” if it was only gonna be there for hours and not collect enough email addresses? Surely they’ll leave it for a little while to build anticipation.

 

Really hope I’m wrong.

I hear you. They may or may not do anything with the emails entered. 

 

Why it's of note, though, is because up until a few minutes ago shop.beyonce.com redirected to beyonce.com. It's been like that since pretty much the end of the tour IIRC.

 

The url working standalone indicates that are about to go live with the page again. The redirection has been turned off. 

 

It was the same for the Cecred site. Initially kept getting cecred.com/password with a basic holding page. Everything lifted with a full site when it eventually launched.

Its definitely music related, especially with that Beyonce meme on the couch, which Legion famously posts nearly every time Bey is about to announce. Posting that meme along with a link to her store definitely means it's ready to roll out.

Delulu for sure, but if she goes live with everything now, what do you want the next few weeks to look like? It'd be three weeks til the album drops. 

 

In general, I'd say:

 

* Keep the "limited quantity" thing from the Rennie rollout. It's a genius way to get fans to buy so as to avoid FOMO.


* Variations! Variations! Variations! Boxes, merch, etc.

 

(Of Bey's 330k debut with Rennie, 190k or so were physical units which also accounts for all the boxes and merch. That'd be another easy 200k plus if they do it right).

 

* Weekly "limited edition" covers! 1 a week up til release would slay. Unveil the main cover now and cement it as the primary version. From Monday coming, debut new ones to drive sales.

 

In the absence of "promo", new covers, merch etc is technically promo and content to satiate fans in the run up to release, keep the release front of mind, and run the numbers tf up lol.

I never knew that “you are the visual baby” came from Prince. :omg:
 

Apparently Bey wanted to use rehearsal footage of her and Prince’s performance for one of her projects, and he basically told her no and that she was the visual.

Not exactly. Bey asked him if she could record and he said to watch it in your mind. She told us that story when she was asked about the FWT dvd. 
 

I don’t think she expected “you are the visual” to become such a big thing :lmao:
