Rafael Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I'm still in shock at how perfect the roll out for her introduction to country has been. I'm not talking about promo, but the idea of dropping these 2 songs at once. I love Texas but if that was the only song I heard prior to the album, I would be worried since I'm not that into country. But then she also drops 16 Carriages... my God... that is what is keeping me excited as old fan of hers. 16 Carriages is giving me "We going country but trust me, I got you" while Texas is giving me "Ok now let's play the game". Renaissance didn't need that and only BMS was enough at that time. It wasn't that hard to picture Bey doing house and her fans would be welcoming that change for her easily. A country album is a whooole new direction and a big risk. Just GENIUS dropping these 2 at once. 9
