If sis can snatch "at least" a top 10 with Texas or something from the album (single-wise) and deliver her usual #1 + RIAA Platinum with the album, I'll be more than happy. Because, as much as I LOVE the idea of a three-act campaign, there's a lot of pressure on each act to do well commercially.
simon Posted February 13 Posted February 13 An unofficial sound of Texas already has over 5,000 creates on TikTok. 2
ShouldersSideways Posted February 13 Posted February 13 The lyric videos are out and are totally different from Renaissance's. Also, a makeup artist who worked on the visual posted something along the lines of "It's finally coming, I can't wait for y'all to see this" 2 1

Wrap up what could very well be a 5-year project in total with a massive visual victory lap. It could be insanely overwhelming. I think so too and I'm down for it. I think it's the potential timeline this is a bit of a womp womp. Waiting until 2025/6 potentially to see the BMS/Cuff It/Heated videos etc feels wild. Similarly, there are pros and cons to avalanching the ppl with content like an all-encompassing visual film. She may be looking to launch the visuals with act 3, but imagine if it's the videos/moments from Rennie or Act II that go viral and overshadow the music that actually will need/require the push at the time (Act 3). That or people may be so invested in the videos for Act 3 that they are kinda meh about the videos we've been "waiting" years for (the Rennie and Act II videos). It's for that reason there's a big part of me that actually would like it to be: * Act 1: Rennie * Act 2: Rodeo or whatever * Act 3: A joint visual for The reclaiming Black genres concept works just as well with two albums and a film that sews it all together. This also gets us to the visuals quicker. I'll never complain about three interconnected Beyonce albums, but I think it'd prefer the above. 1
Titanbaddie Posted February 13 Posted February 13 (edited) The smashery in this dancery. Beyonce's longevity is actually insane. Edited February 13 by Titanbaddie
Starshine Posted February 13 Posted February 13 how expensive and long is this film for it to be 3 acts I feel like we’re getting songs cut in half like heated on tour

Jon Snow Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I was team TEXAS HOLD 'EM from the beginning, but I never expected it to smash. They have to put it at #1 at TTH and we'll see what happens. The TikTok reactions seem promising to me

Crayzik Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I'm so ready for Act II (RODEO sounds so right) i'm sure it will be more than Country music, just like Renaissance is more than Dance music. I can definitely see tracks like these on the project 3
idkwiam Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Not Lipstick Alley a site with mostly black women being lashed here. This base never beating the allegations unfortunately. Bye bye 1 1 7
