I don't like this look when her head is wrapped and I'm not huge on the jewelry. I was surprised they used this single outfit, head wrapped and all, for her "runway" walk during Energy. it would have been a great montage of her various slays but that section didn't get the most exciting looks I guess.

When 'the walk' came I was fully expecting an edit at each stomp but then it didn't come... :cries: But maybe that was too expected so good on her!

Also, I'm fully repeating myself and probably others in this thread but... How is this woman planning on gaining some 'stability & peace' (the theater BOO'ed her during that part :bibliahh:) while being in a middle of a 3-part project???

I'm fine with her not touring the next album if that's what she needs, but she can't just erase the two other parts like she did with the FWT DVD. :deadbanana2:

Well tbh SL, Irreplaceable and Halo are Bey’s classics though regardless of stans’ appreciation for them.

Although I am not the greatest Halo’s lover, I want the three songs back on tour. Hits are made for stadiums and tours.
I also want Irr and SL to go viral and catch up to 1B fast. Both deserve.

Same... I was totally disappointed, but as soon as BMS started, it got better

She refused to show some of the best looks, and choose the mid ones instead

The movie was perfect the way it was and the only critique I tolerate is that it dragged on a little bit towards the end, but other than that, I dont wanna read about any critique. Stay Mute!

Watching Thriller 40 and seeing how MJ changed the game of Music Videos make you understand the impact of a powerful visual. The Renaissance Film is great and definitely historical but I'm still hoping for visuals :celestial3:And who cares if it's one year later ? It will make us experience the music in a different way, just like the film is doing right now.

If everything she says is true (doubt it): the three acts are recorded, she wouldn't need to work on them. And if it really took her 4 years to figure out the tour maybe a possible future tour for those acts uses the same stage, just in a different way with new props. That's stability for like 3-4 years. :michael:

She'll find something to work on. She's been saying this for years and she always ends up doing it again

OMG, I was JUST (and I mean *just*) coming to say the same thing about Thriller 40.

Literally just finished watching it (the credits are rolling as I type) and the part about the video we all know and love coming 1.5 years after the album smashed hard immediately made me think of Bey.

The different climate makes me doubt a Rennie visual would have a Thriller-like impact, but she really could still make some noise with "the visuals" in the near future.

The only drawback, and it's slightly unrelated, is that the more she elevates and immortalizes the Rennie era, the more unlikely it is we'll get the "next" Act/Album anytime soon.

I remember reading some credible tea somewhere (whew this era has been a ride) suggesting that all the Acts were originally meant to be out before the tour. Which, in many ways makes sense given the time between Rennie dropping and the frame she had until she could hit the road (almost a year).

I'm not sure the cultural impact of Rennie was anything they were anticipating. And great as that is, it creates lofty expectations for the "next" thing and thematically isn't the kind of project she can just toss aside to move onto a new sound/musical story. She'd get raked over the coals for supposedly "using" the gworls. So, for many reasons, I get letting Rennie breath and slow bake (alongside the indisputable fact that something went left behind the scenes with the visuals).

I'd love to live in Rennie land for a while longer, but I'm equally (and perhaps more) interested in the next thing. As she seems pretty verbatim about winding down. I'd rather we get more music (and the success attached to it) in the here and now and let her give us another 3-5-years of extracurricular activities (perfume, IVP, Cécred etc) after that than wait years for her new music.

Just saw an instagram post of Tina saying "for the last month my child was in a studio almost 24 hours a day, I was with her most of that time sleeping in the studio"?? Is she mixing the live album or something?

Most likely the editing studio to finish the movie!

I'm curious about international gross since it wasn't really available most places

MsTina has been promoting Beyoncé more than anyone (Yvette included) in the last 7 years. Just went by her IG to look for that post about studio time and her whole page is just an uplifting series of posts about her daughters (Bey, Solo, Kelly, B's cousin but also Michelle, her ex-husband's daughter), her grandchildren, various black women and artists. She seems like such a generous soul.

Has there been any official word yet on when the film will be on streaming/on-demand? I’m so busy for the rest of the year that I won’t have time to make it to the theatre for a while
