Chris Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 So is she basically just putting multiple shows into one show?
vlayonce Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 Not sure what to believe about the live album Was there any accurate information about a possible live album before Homecoming dropped on Netflix?

swissman Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 (edited) I find it a bit strange that anyone would expect Beyoncé to say something like "I don't feel the need to be perfect" and think that actually means we're going to see her groggy with smudged makeup, crumbs on her chin and sniffing her pits before putting on deodorant... or think that she's still not going to give her 100% and want to do her best and therefore be seen as achieving her best. People need to understand even perfectionism itself can be seen as a flaw to embrace. And since perfection is a state where no flaws can exist without it suddenly becoming "imperfection" any small change she makes away from that is her empathically embracing imperfection. The idea that she must reach a certain threshold of "letting us in" or "being flawed" in order for her own understanding and feelings towards the concept to be accepted is unfair and un-thoughtout, trying to make hypocrisy happen where by definition it is not. Kristie Kuwa Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 If there's a new song, I want her to release it. Simple as that. Stop the shenanigans Bey! 1

It will definitely open with less than 20M. Meanwhile the last projections had Bey opening with 27-32M. I’m betting it’s going to open with at least 30M. A huge number!! Variety actually had it updated at around $20 million, that first prediction was when presales first went on sale.
Mitsouko Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 It's been days since the premiere, why don't we know for sure if there's a new song at the end I hate this riddle ****
Starshine Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 36k minutes of Rennie I streamed this year and that’s excluding the live performances which I played more of- 4

There's countless of spoilers over on X so I'd assume we would know for sure by now if there was anything... This or Bey gave a speech at the beginning of the screening asking everyone to keep their mouth shut as much as possible before the 1st. The guest list was pretty tight so it's possible! Also, whole other topic: will she keep the platinum wig for the London premiere...? (Even if it's just in the video she'll send. ) What was the theme again? Edited November 28, 2023 by Tangane 1

swissman Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 (edited) 1 hour ago, family.guy123 said: Another LIBAD I fear. What a ******* waste Beyoncé tbh the only issue with LIBAD is that it's centre "conflict" was the Billboard RTW performance from 2 years prior, so the stakes weren't exactly that exciting nor fresh, and the documentary wasn't (like Homecoming or RENAISSANCE) anchored solely to one performance to guide us through it, but contained a lot of Revel clips mixed with unrelated bts and 4-era moments. We still had MANY personal insights into her life such as: insight about her pregnancy with blue the video of her and the "blue ivy" on the tree is especially poignant her opening up about her miscarriage(s) lots of exclusive MacBook videos discussion of her work and process the entire iconic "people don't make albums anymore" monologue that has really helped define and explain her approach since then and that also touched upon the notions of celebrity vs. artist via not caring about Nina Simone's child, but her artistry etc. It's just that critics are critical and as I mentioned above, are going to need Beyoncé or any popstar to show themselves in a truly bad light in order for them to tag the word "authentic" to a pop-star-produced documentary of self. I'd even argue that showing a bunch of unflattering moments is itself a form of pop-propaganda. It's a choice and a desire to be shown in a certain way, and even if reluctant or regretful about it, it still represents an edited version of someone. Unless they are like Katy Perry and live-streamed for days, you're really not going to get the "real" person, and even then she clearly knew she was on camera and what she was doing. True authenticity can only come from them not knowing they're being filmed. Edited November 28, 2023 by swissman 2
satellites.™ Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 10 hours ago, Devin said: yall better than me i was thinking $15M And this is more likely tbh, the huge ticket prices will of course drive it high, but now that it's snowing too in the US I dont see many people leaving their homes to go see a concert film at night IN THE DARK when it's dark now at 4:30pm - 5pm. I'm guessing around $10 - $17 million tbh. My surprise estimate if people really didn't do presales is maybe $25 million, I do NOT see this going over $30 million. For reference, Obsessed opened with $11 million. Justin Bieber did do $30 million opening, but again, those are teens and this was in Feb of 2011. Recent ones from Coldplay and BTS didnt do so well, so overall I think this ends at #3 or #2, we will see. Highest-grossing concert films[17][15] Rank Title Year Performer Type Worldwide gross 1 Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour † 2023 Taylor Swift Music $250,000,000[14] 2 Justin Bieber: Never Say Never 2011 Justin Bieber $99,034,125 3 Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert 2008 Miley Cyrus $70,712,099 4 One Direction: This Is Us 2013 One Direction $68,233,799 5 Eddie Murphy Raw 1987 Eddie Murphy Stand-up $50,504,655 1
