Chris Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Would have been better instead of Lift Off on RenaLissance Tour. 1

I am so beyond caring for the visuals, scrap it all and move onto Act II 4
Mitsouko Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Hopefully she’ll get the chance to be Top 5 and not Top 2 next era 3

Blue Rose Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 I honestly don’t understand why she works until 3am every night and keeping people up just to sabotage her eras. Her long hours are not a flex, it’s disrespectful 4 5 1

I think this next era will be very telling especially if she goes country/rock. #2 album debuts and going back to arenas for tours, as much as I love the RWT I did hear a lot of casuals complaining on the walk out how she performed barely any of the songs they knew. I see a lot of people skipping the next one if it's for a country focused album 1 1

She put out a 5 part documentary and 2 award performances and one virtual performance and called it a day. Now, we get absolutely nothing if she's not accepting an award. I can understand not Doing a documentary or interview for "LEMONADE" since it may have been too personal, but like. . .can we have our f-cking videos already? Even the documentary is coming a year and a half later and seems so primarily focused on the tour. I get so frustrated with her all the time because the form of staying in the public eye, focusing on solely music is not as hard as she makes. So there's much she could do on YouTube and Instagram, like she was doing before, without offering too much of her self. The lashings Blue recived as a child really has done a number on Bey, mixed with her manager/father overworking her. 4

I thought it was normal until girlies like Olivia Rodrigo came out and kept topping and retopping the charts as their next singles popped off. 1
bijonse Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 I don’t think she’s doing a COUNTRY album, maybe like a folky bluesy soul album with a lot of ballads and live instrumentation but I doubt it’s gonna sound like Carrie underwood and Casey musgraves 2
TizTiz Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 I can definitely see her doing one big show or weekend residency rather than a complete tour soon, in the coming years (2-4) . I see a celebrity filled, 3 hour show on the scale of something like U2 or bigger and her just going back to the studio. I'm surprised she didn't continue play with holographics this tour because I for sure knew that where we were going.
Fleahive Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Random but I misheard the lyrics of savage remix. I always thought and hoped she said "please don't give me hype" but instead she says "please don't get me hype". I always thought she was taking a shot at the media for hyping her up on purpose so people hate her. 1

Was it most weeks in top 10 in her entire career? I didn't realize Lemonade has charted longer so far. I always assumed that album came and went due to not being on streaming. That's very impressive.

Then again, I want the tour to continue and I don’t think releasing a live album now would be a good idea. Either way, the shows will sellout but that’s just very unusual. This plus it's 2023 are y'all not listening to the fan made versions? Grande Went Next on youtube has made epic live versions, we don't need an official one.
Calypso Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 We've established that her doing a country or rock album doesn't mean it'll purely be that. Just as Renaissance isn't pure House. It'll be retro, have futuristic elements, have RnB twists, hints of pop, hip-hop and many hints of other evolutions of the genre. It'll have a bey twist to it for sure. It's not going to be an album of daddy lesssons. It's clear that not only does she want to put her own spin on it, she wants to reclaim the genres by evolving and modernizing it. It's very exciting tbh. I trust whatever genre she picks as the grounding thesis, but I personally would LOVE to see bey in her rockstar era (for me all her best live performances have that rockstar twist to them). Finally, I do see her going this route because bey said she wanted to do things people say she can't do and now we heard more about her horrible experience at the CMAs. Nothing fuels bey like proving someone wrong and being out for blood. 2
Calypso Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 ^^tho none of what I said matters cuz the acts and visuals are cancelled and deleted! The only thing we are getting is a perfume, followed by more perfumes. A new ivy park partner and drops. A new hair care company. Some random performance for some Billionaire. A new product to sell the honey from her bee farms. A new Tiffany campaign for 2024. + whatever else she has in store :)

Cbreezy Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Sis has boxed herself into a corner. She’s ascended to the highest height and presents as a living legend. Beyond the bops, there’s a huge branding element to this. Having stanned MJ and Prince for a long time, a big part of that is a very deliberate “less is more” motif. It’s marketing 101 and makes the “rare” moments they would swoop down from the clouds to “grace us” with their presence mean more. Be that for an album era or award show. It meant…more. So, in kinda getting the mechanics of this and understanding how much “event-izing” herself contributes to the “royal” level Bey resides on today, I made peace with the fact that as stans we can’t have it all. She literally cannot be as omnipresent, as in our face as before, or as girl next door as Taylor. As none of that aligns with her regal status. Conventionally speaking, a Queen does not pander to a crowd. Rather, they flock to…her. It’s all ridiculous, but it’s literally the game of “celebrity” and there is per artist science to sustaining it. Even if that means going against the grain of what seems logical or what others are doing. However… Where Bey gets on my nerves is the messing up on minor details. Like her social media push. The stuff that costs her nothing (not time or money) to level up on. 3
