Not sure if you have seen this, but it was recommended to me on facebook. It's an one hour documentary about Solange being in Beyonce's shadow, but mostly about Beyonce, how it all stared, Girls Tyme, with apparances of Ashley from Girs Tyme, Matthew, Beyonce's stylist and vocal couch. It's for free and it was nice to watch (although nothing groundbreaking). Seems like something new since it incorporates Ren visuals trailer.

Yeah I too have tried to find good quality videos on YT and it’s like there’s only a handful of terrible ones, random ones :deadbanana4: If giraffe don’t RELEASE a FILM of this show

This seems to be the only channel that has decent videos from our show though Flaws, River Deep and Formation is missing:

So sis you think Black Parade is trash but you love 7 time trash?

Oh I meant 7/11 is the hill this base is going down on huh?

------

Seriously that song, her awful autotune various collabs and her complete inability to pick singles that show her growth as an artist (who picks Sorry to represent an album like Lemonade? Like, who?) is one of the reasons some can't take her seriously. Even, I, almost didn't take her seriously when it came out. I thought she lost it.

A bop can be fun, weird and GOOD. 7/11 just is not.

I really don't understand her obsession with sunglasses this tour. The performances feel kinda cold and not expressive when she has them on. Show us your beautiful face Giselle!!!

I also noticed there's not as many good videos on YT from the US leg...

This video of DIL from opening night remains my favorite

It's just serene... The dark stadium, the lights, her aura, her VOICE

Might be biased because I attended this show but I get chills everytime I watch this and remember everyone losing it when she appeared on stage, we've been missing her for a long time

I rewatch this all the time. Her stopping and smiling in the middle of singing because the audience is showing so much love 🥹

7/11 isn’t a sonic masterpiece but she’s a fun girl that can actually come to life in a live setting. BP….doesn’t, watching the tank roll around will be cute tho.

kinda this… we all know she’s a terrible person and a nut job BUT one thing i agree on with miss Banks is the fact Beyoncé (sometimes) chooses the most awful songs to jump on and that are simply beneath her talent… you are the best living vocalist the mainstream industry has to offer and you jump on songs like Top Off and Shining ? :biblio: if i were her i wouldn’t touch all that crap with a ten foot pole

in other news i’m so thankful for people who make studio versions (it seems most have given up ? there’s a lot less creators than 5 years ago) and who put in the work our lazy faves refuse to do :clap3:

Crazy I how always sing the live arrangements now even when I’m listening to the studio album. She needs to drop the live album the day after Kansas City

I'm kinda tired of her doing all those Travis, Eminem, DJ Khaled, Future & Ed Sheeran collabs instead of giving us the obvious Solange, Mariah or Rihanna collabs that everybody would be here for. Specially when those songs mostly do nothing for her. There's at least 13 songs from Utopia already outstreaming Echoes despite it being pushed as a single. Straight men don't vibe with Bey, she's not "cool" for them like RIhanna or SZA are.

She always goes Experimental with her Hip Hop collabs instead of giving us a proper bop. Also Delresto is mostly her so I can see why Travis fans aren’t ******* with it that much. It’s like Forward (amazing song, just not a Beyoncé song despite being on her album)

Though this isn't entirely true, considering the taste of straight men, this has always been one of Bey's biggest flexes to me.

Going to a concert surrounded by just the girls and gays, we love to see it.

I would LOVE a Victoria-penned bop or a collab, imagine Bey on something like these :jonny:

She probably has sent Bey a few demos. Knowing this I believe Do It by CxH (which has Victoria as a writer) was a song Victoria originally sent to Bey then Bey gave it to them.

Always thought this would have been an AMAZING Beyoncé song, especially when the brass comes in, it’s godly

Echoes is too experimental, it's not single material at all. I don't understand why they pushed it, coupled with the fact that Travis is barely present in the track. Other than that, to be honest, she picks the worst songs ever. I don't understand at least if she picked awful songs that are at least commercial with a potential to be a hit. Top off and that other one are both bad but they are also un-listenable and uncool. She also raps too instead of balancing mumble rap or rapping with the softness of her vocals. If she was serving RnB soft vocals, it might work better

- Pink + White is Frank's biggest song on Spotify as a lead.

- Hymn For The Weekend is and was huge.

- Perfect's duet did OK.

- Her featurings with Missy Elliott are still praised to this day in the community and seen as cult classics

- Bonnie & Clyde was successful

Beyoncé's problem is that nowadays she doesn't bring the female balance/energy in most of her featurings. She brings "masculine" swag which doesn't work for that type of audience from a woman.

To her defense, she did that with Eminem's song and it was a colossal flop. But hey, the song is boring and lacks edge. And it seems Eminem was afraid to let loose because "The Beyoncé" was on the track.

Eminem hasn't released a single strong track since 2010, that song being the absolute worst in Beyoncé's catalog is entirely his fault (and probably Jay's).

Beyoncé always made songs for the ladies since the DC days, but straight men respect her as a performer and they like songs like energy.

LOL. Yes, definitely. The song is not good, she probably just sang how it was on the demo. It was soft and it would have smashed if Eminem brought some fire or personality. I think the song wasn't a success because it completely lacks Eminem's edge/personality and anger. He's all proper on it and I feel like he was trying to be as tame and proper as "The Beyoncé" deserves.

Tbh I don’t really feel like straight men don't vibe with her.
