I know my BEYONCÉ typographic writeup went semi-viral on ATRL here and was made fun of, but type choices are very considered. Designers absolutely spend hours deciding the right choice and it has a lot to do with what the project is all about, and how the typeface represents the themes/goals. !!! I picked up on this two. Funny enough I've been obsessed with mono-spaced fonts recently and then she dropped this new visual identity today. Going to have a blast designing concepts this summer Font is BB Manual Mono Pro TX btw. Let me see if I can pirate it cuz I ain't paying $700 for no damn font

Tripthelight Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 She DID say she wanted to create businesses outside of music…I never would have envisioned her entering into the tech space. at this point, I don’t know what to think or expect. Will the total tracks be split amongst the different acts, or will each act get its own set of tracks. And if the album really features country (rock) songs, there is no telling who her collaborators will be.

chaeyonce Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 I don't know what to think about the "Country" part but I'm here for anything regardless
nooniebao Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 Ryan Tedder (co-writer and co-producer of Halo and XO, co-producer of I Was Here) worked on the album according to the Variety article: Quote The album will feature both dance and country-leaning tracks, the source says, with contributions from hit songwriter Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote her 2008 hit “Halo” as well as hits for Adele, Taylor Swift, the Jonas Bros. and his own group, OneRepublic. It was unclear whether the country songs will appear as a separate album, or as part of the first edition of “Renaissance.” Country is not new terrain for the singer: “Daddy Lessons,” from 2016’s “Lemonade,” is heavy on twang and was even covered by the Chicks (then known as the Dixie Chicks). And so did Nija Charles who co-wrote LOVEHAPPY, HEARD ABOUT US, My Power, Ariana Grande’s positions, motive and Rain On Me verse, CxH’s Forgive Me, several Summer Walker tracks in the last 3 years, among many others! Her songwriting discography:

Likingstars Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 I wonder what song she will sample this time, renaissance might also mean that she will dig up old well known song and bring new life to it

Dance music is the one area she has never really attempted (when everybody was doing oontz-oontz that aged like milk, she was dropping a sublime R&B album with heavy emphasis on vocals, and thank God for that). There is an endless sea of sounds producers and themes she can explore for this album. Disco? Funk? House? Detroit techno? Balearic house? Trance? I don't know, but I do know she's about to DELIVER. The theme? Dance.” Just in case anyone was still skeptical, a dance album is confirmed. Guuurls i am literally CREAMING myself... THIS IS MY DREAMM... WHat the **** is going on for real???
swissman Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 I'm sure that when they say country they do not mean exactly that... I mean I hope its some melange of styles, even just her use of zydeco in Daddy Lessons elevated it. I would imagine she'd continue this idea of musical gumbo. Dance and country aren't exactly hand-in-hand.
MrPiggyMoka Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 And **** this server, i cannot see half of things you guys post from Twitter... Ridiculous
ShouldersSideways Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 The horse and disco seem like the two motifs of the era.
