Imagine if we got visuals and performance all in one week...what would the Hive do!?

Sad truth: It's more likely for her to do nothing come Grammy night than this outcome. The Hive reality in 2023

Would you rather have a performance or the visuals for the grammys though? if only one.

MVs are absolutely tied to the tour.

  • BMS video coming at the same time as the single.
  • BMS video will come as a final push once it's close to #1.
  • BMS video will come when it reaches #1 to stabilize it.
  • All visuals, including BMS video, are coming with the album.
  • The visuals are coming a week after the album to get another week at #1.
  • The visuals are coming in August to meet the Grammy cutoff.
  • The visuals are coming in September for her birthday (:rip:).
  • The visuals will come during first round Grammy voting.
  • The visuals will come in November before the Christmas freeze.
  • The visuals will come in December during final round of Grammy voting.
  • The visuals will come January 1 to ring in the new year (:rip:).

For the tour, I hope she does multiple legs like she did for the MCSWT. It would make sense for her to do so if she releases Act II while on tour.

I hate that she releases **** while on tour and changes the setlist :)

She gives edgelord contrarian teas. The was this girl refuses to do anything in a way that is widely accepted or acknowledged as being the norm. Just cuz. I wonder if she was this annoying in school. Pop acts release music before going on tour because... it makes sense tf. She just GOT TO to switch it up because Beyoncé. It gives credence to the rumors of her being a chronic deadline misser. ST out before Mrs. Carter Show? I'll see. Our joint album EIL out before our joint tour OTR? We'll think about it. Not still fücking with my fans a year into my trollingest non-era ever? I'll get back to you on that one.

this thing about deadlines... I mean, I think rather than chronically missing a deadline, she's moreso the owner of her own company and gets to set them, or reset them, as she pleases.

imo she's earned this sort of behaviour after a career full of intense work schedules. if she wants to push back a release a hundred times, so long as she's not announced it, why does that matter? I'd rather have content she feels good with than asking her to rush to meet an arbitrary date.

It's amazing to me that Beyoncé/Destiny's Child were planning their comeback album while Crazy in Love was still a #1 hit... her era had hardly even begun, she was AT THE TOP of the pop charts and yet she was focused on "what's next".

Whether that's by Matthew's insistence or her own desire to always be thinking ahead, it's partly why I'm forgiving of her antics now...she's done so much already and worked so hard to get it. At this part of her career I will allow her to approach her work in whatever way she feels best suits her desires.

The accuracy lol

The way it sums up of six months of absolute confusion. In fairness to us all,  every single one of those scenarios make sense and would work on many levels had they actually come to fruition.

While I'm near certain that something went wrong behind the scenes, I'm still sure that ish "will make sense" come the official premiere. Or be spun to make sense. Most likely an all-encompassing tie-in with the visuals and the tour.

Logically, she's highly unlikely to embark on a tour - showcasing all the costumes, themes, and choreo we've been waiting for - before dropping the visuals when the exact selling point of the visuals are...costumes, themes, and choreo. It'd be preemptive and anti-climatic for the visuals.

This plus the crumbs of confirmed shoots, "thank you" notes to those involved, "that" trailer, all anchor my current comfort level. Evidentially, there is more proof that it's coming and she's not sitting at home dormant than there is proof that it's not. She's also not the type of act to ever (ever) announce something and not follow-through. No amount of admitted frustration will make me waiver on what I know stanning this woman for all this time.

New Beyoncé certificates in Brazil besides the ones who were updated yesterday.

I’m shocked with Pretty Hurts being Diamond and LOT too.

This! I’m sorry but Beyoncé has done and given us so much that I can give her a pass to do whatever she wants now. t’s called being grateful. Some of us are not too familiar with that concept :coffee2:

Not to take anything away from your overall point but wasnt that just more of a timing issue since her debut was pushed back and Kelly’s pushed up due to Dilemma smashing?

Well perhaps? I'm not sure tbh. This would presume the fourth Destiny's Child album was already scheduled for a 2004 release no matter what and that there was no changing that date. It's possible though, because it was always Matthew's plan for them to go solo and reunite, but I guess my main point was even at the start of her solo era, she wasn't fully in the moment of her success, she was working hard and both her musical careers (group and solo) were overlapping (she performed a concert with DC in July of 2003 which is where the girls began discussion on what they would do for their follow up record).

Whats there to be grateful for? Shes basically the manager of her own business, sold sth to us and in return we made her extremely rich. It's a give and take.

Im also not going around being grateful for Apple or Samsung or so.

Our fav  is NOT Mother Theresa, let me tell you that.

Like everything is Diamond. What's her total sales? I think with all these updated cert, she's top ten best seller in the UK, US, Brazil, Aus and NZ among females, right?

What's not to be grateful for? Music is a product, but also art.

Are you not grateful to have experienced ST, Lemonade and Renaissance? Because I don't think any of those would have been possible had she not worked so hard to develop her career to a place where she had the means, the autonomy, the skill, the connections, the lessons, the time and the confidence to so boldly make them.

What people are mad at seems to be is her lack of "promo", the ways she is not optimizing her success now, the mystery, the wait etc. These are things related to business, not art. If it's foolish to feel an emotion like gratitude for a phone company, so too must it be foolish feel anger for purely business reasons.

Visuerls. But neither should hinge on the Grammys to begin with. We could've gotten both if only she weren't so stingy.

Im grateful for the music, of course, but this sense of "she deserves this now" I don't buy. The older I get, the more I realize that truly, what shes doing is not that exceptional in terms of working load. We all, as normal human beings, have to work so many hours a year, go to work while being sick, etc, with much less outcome. Sure, shes gifted, an amazing entertainer and has sacrificed a lot, but I'll certainly not bend the knee for her since Im also investing in her and her product.

If you feel this way then why are you here? Lol. I mean the way you describe Beyoncé on a daily basis make it seems as though she’s not a person deserving of of fans.

I agree with your main point and have always felt her debut era wasn’t fully fleshed out - just thought the pushback added context because if all went to plan Bey would’ve released 2002 to coincide with  Goldmember but WIO underperformed and Dangerously In Love had to be re-recorded.

I pretty much never trashed her abilities or artistry and am a big fan of her output. Always have been and probably always will be if she stays consistent.

Im however also very critical of her distance to her fans these days who made her who she is. I just don't support that behavior and also glorification of hers.

We're not investing in a product though. We're purchasing a product that has been already created and that we then consent to buy for the market price offered. Unless we have personally sent Beyoncé money to use for her visual album and she has not yet fulfilled our terms, there's really no reason for any of us to feel entitled to any more than we have already received.

I see your points at not bending the knee, but I think in refusing that kind of relationship, you're enacting the opposite, which is not any better... thinking that she is under our control, bending the knee to whatever desires or plans we the fans insist she should be doing.

At the end of the day, whether you think she hasn't worked harder than anyone else in America or not isn't quite my point. It's that she's been hustling in this industry since she was 16, and now in her 40s with a family she's earned a position that allows her to created under her own conditions, timelines, and whims.
