I have a rational question , what yalls thoughts are ( no drama ) . So i saw a instagram post where a interviewer asked who is bigger B or T.S and most comments under the post ( pre dominat white people ) said Taylor for multiple reasons or downplayed Bs success etc.

So my thing is which is besides the point T.S is the face of yte priveledge. And Naturally B as a Black woman will never "appeal" to a mass ike T.S in a certain sense .

However B been  breaking records and touring way before Taylor , is much more respected by her peers, has more Talent .

Now my Question is , when its all said and done and we run down the time will T.S have the longeivity , will she be stapled in the history books like B ? Will "WE" look back like at MJ Whitney etc at T.S or B ( the later is a given for me )

T is in her absolute mass hype era now. Remember how Gaga Fans claimed shes the biggest artist since Madonna back then? Where are they now?

Same thing happening now with T. At one point, things will start to naturally slow down. I wouldnt even be surprised if the industry will try to push back Ts success since her dominance in the industry is actually hurting more than helping.

Lets talk then.

Bey is a legend, period. Shes the greatest living performer (evidence is Coachella on Netflix), shes broken barriers, shes a true risk-taker, shes switching up her sounds and succeeds. Like, Bey is polarizing, yes, but shes serving nothing but talent and quality.

You can’t compare Taylor to Beyoncé nowadays since one actually cares about their career’s success. Taylor has released like 3 albums with music videos shot and uploaded in the time since Renaissance was released. Beyoncé’s quality/talent blows Taylor out of the water, but the reason Taylor is more successful nowadays is that she actually does promotion and pushes her eras to make sure as many people pay attention as possible.

Hindsight will favour Bey as one of the greatest performers in history. That is her lane. She was the lead of one of the biggest girl groups in history and has a solo career that demonstrates unmatched consistency and longevity, in both acclaim, impact and success. A once in a generation artist and she is still going strong.

Taylor will be remembered for her incredible song writing, an iconic transition from country star to the global pop force she is today. Both of their legacies can co-exist and really don't see many parallels. Besides Taylor perfecting a lot of Bey's later career moves and arguably using her as a blue print to handle the media and give less but with greater results, by harnessing her loyal fanbase and mastering the accessible "relatable" schtick.

The mass hysteria and hype around Taylor will not last forever, as we have seen with other artists at their peak. Though I will say, Taylor's success could drop by 90% and she'd still be competing with the best, so she's basically an anomaly at this point.

Madonna and Gaga weren’t safe, Tay is. Her hype might level off but she will always be big now. She will never struggle.

Maybe the show is being professionally recorded again and she wants one more proper performance for the cut songs.:giraffe: Hopefully with better outfits this time:giraffe:

Beyonce has been in the industry for 25 years and has competed with every juggernaut - coming out on top every time.

She plays the long game and is her only competition.

I didn’t know this was the ITG intro inspiration. It’s basically the same concept :storm:

The show being filmed, the inflatable jacket coming back, Drunk In Love soundcheck, people working at the stadium saying yesterday's show was shorter and tonight is "the full setlist," the ITG teaser anniversary, and TS Madison being invited by Bey to attend. Time to clown again :gaycat1:

Oh and Chloe and Halle are there as well! :jonny5:
