R.E.M should've launched 2020 and we got Positions the year after, the beauty industry has staggered considerably since the pandemic, especially for influencer brands like hers. There's little room for growth in the entry-level which is exactly why they shipped to Ulta almost immediately.

 

A two year break between TUN and AG6 would've been completely reasonable, we would've gotten a tour post-vaccine and there'd be less of a layover between big projects = we would've avoided how boring it feels now.

 

Because if the first Wicked flops, I feel like they're going to panic and make AG7 a commercial album (when we already have six and need a concept album!) to try to increase her popularity and she's going to get annoyed and go back into hiding for another three years. It really feels like they've tried to make it look conscious that she's not chasing her commercial peak anymore, but the pacing of her projects for the ex-hardest working twenty three year old is going to make that more complicated than they'd like.

True. I honestly think some of her fans would lose it if she takes a 3+ years break one time

 

We've been constantly fed so much since her debut honestly. I do miss her & her music but I'm kinda fine with her break this time. Need her to focus more, get inspired, and come back with a magnum opus and an actual ERA.

 

Also after they announced the Wicked release dates, I don't think she's waiting till 2025 for an album lol. Its coming next year.

this would be a dream come true, but knowing her she'll scrape some unreleased positions, tuna and sweetener tracks together and call it an album

I want to jump ship so badly but no one has me on a chokehold the same way Ari has. I guess we have to accept that we're stanning a lazy avon lady who can't even promote her ******* make up brand properly the same way others do (speaking about MET Galas, VOGUE interviews, magazine covers etc).
