The way DWHAP suddenly started falling hard on Spotify right after the tracking week ended. Something's not right.

I meant to make a thread on this…but I feel like Nicki should’ve just dropped the album (a la BEYONCE).  And just used the initial hype/anticipation to sell the album.  
 

And then naturally ppl would’ve gravitated to certain tracks, and THEN she could pick the actual single.  The double single releases don’t work for her (especially if she’s not prepared with videos ready).  
 

And if she did a surprise drop (or short release window), it would force her to do her visuals in advance.  No more “wait to see which performs best”, “wait for the remix” etc etc etc.  Like girl…

no sane record label on planet earth would clear a surprise released nicki minaj album, people aren't even interested enough to stream a song, something like that would send them straight into bankrupcy
