It's going to be close. If I had to guess, I think Thought You Should Know barely survives and I'm Good gets the boot.

Not really, since Save Your Tears and Die For You were charting before the Ariana remix came out. Save Your Tears with Ariana only charted for 50 weeks, the others 19 weeks are from The Weeknd SOLO.

The entire chart run is credited to her though.

It's because they only created 1 page for the song, and credited The Weeknd & Ariana Grande in the artist space. But in no way she can get credited for a song that she wasn't even released yet LOL :gaycat5:

Not saying you aren't technically correct but according to Billboard they do it that way, when a remix surpasses the original overall they switch the credit of the entire track. So I am adjusting the thread according to what they do.

Look at the debut date for Save Your Tears in her page: 04.04.20. In that week SYT had already 19 weeks + 1 week for the debut, so  even them doesn't credit her, it's only a mistake from the site where they have only one space to write the name of the artist and they wrote The Weeknd & Ariana Grande :fan:

It is not a mistake from the website, they do it for any song when a remix surpasses the original in overall weeks.

Still, should her get credited for a song that she wasn't even singing it? sounds fraudulent :gaycat1:

I think it hits 52 weeks though, it will stay above #50 since the Travis songs will go out and they usually let songs hit 52 weeks below #25 then send them into recurrency.

Yeah, the Ariana credit for Save Your Tears and Die for You shouldn't be counted because the Ariana versions technically didn't hit 52 weeks. Both songs are massive and became bigger due to Ariana, but it just looks fraudulent. But hey, not my thread so just voicing my opinion. :michael:

Anti-Hero 10 weeks away, Taylor will finally have a song on the list :alexz:

A lot may still happen but it has great chances.

Yeah, that's the point. Ariana made the songs even bigger than they already were, but it looks fraudulent af to count weeks for her when the remix didn't even EXISTS :deadbanana2:

Anyway, for the Ariana CREDIT remix:

Save Your Tears 50 weeks

Die For You 22 weeks

My opinion on the remix thing is that Save Your Tears should count for Ariana because she would have easily gotten the 52 weeks if the 19 weren't already there. The song went recurrent from 16, which means it would have probably gotten the 2 weeks in the 26-50 range. I'd also count Justin's credit for Despacito because it took the song to new heights and his version was credited for more than 50% of the run. There's a good chance neither SYT nor Despacito gets to 52 weeks without their remixes (SYT was already nosediving out of the Top 50 prior to Christmas). However, I do not believe that Die For You should count for Ariana because the song was (1) out for over 6 years before Ariana jumped on a remix, (2) the song had already peaked on some metrics, like Pop, before she got on it, and (3) there really wasn't a bump in longevity once Ariana jumped on it. The song was already at 30 weeks before Ariana jumped on it, and it was likely to get to 52 weeks anyway.

Anyways, onto the Bubbling Under, where we get an unexpected addition this week, in Blank Space.

#10 SZA - "Snooze" - 35 weeks

So Morgan Wallen has 3 songs with 52 weeks or more in the chart

And I'm sure Last Night will be the next one (if survives until Christmas)

I think it will. Even though radio is dropping it, the sales and streams will keep it from falling too hard. Plus year-end countdowns :rip:
