how does the 'under #25' -> recurrent' rule works?

cuz calm down will be above #25 after bad bunny/drake weeks for sure.

will it comeback or would a position higher than it's #3 peak be needed for it to come back?

My guess is that it would need to be somewhere close to its peak position or significantly gaining in points to return. Blinding Lights was able to re-enter at #3 after the holidays three years ago. Then again, Billboard's policy on re-entering after recurrency is so inconsistent. BL could have also returned at various points (like Halloween 2021 or following the succeeding holiday season), but Billboard didn't allow it to.

oh ok got it. thank you! they should have a more clear rule, like if it went top 10 on some relevant chart other than the hot 100 (sales/streaming/radio) it could come back for example. a shame.

I want Creepin' to get 52 weeks too, it sounds like it won't because Bad Bunny will prevent it,and even if he can't 1989TV probably will.

Anti-Hero will make it :clap3: Can it get 53 weeks? How far is it from #25? Surely some of the Drake and Bad Bunny tracks will be below it for its week 53?

Kill Bill better make it too! Snooze will likely give Levitating a run for its money.

I think Snooze will have a long run but something will kill it eventually. I am guessing reputation TV will be out by April which will probably send it recurrent.

Christmas songs will send Snooze into recurrency.

Levitating also would've had more weeks if Billboard actually let it reenter when it should've. :deadbanana4:

It will be allowed to reenter I think, other songs were allowed to reenter after Christmas even though they were sent recurrent.

Idts. It’s radio audience is dropping hard, I don’t think it’ll have enough points to re-enter top 25.
