Probably an unpopular opinion on this site, but Kacey fucking ruined “Easy.” Not because she’s bad on it, but because she was so entirely unnecessary and her very presence on the song “straightens” a queer piece of art. I also don't have a problem with Coldplay going pop, personally loved A Head Full of Dreams especially! This new album as a whole is just messy, unbalanced. It also feels like an EP again with these transitions and interludes. It's mostly not about ability of singer to sing well or something like that, for me it's about making new arrangements, or mashups, or new versions of the songs we already know (Madonna is the perfect example of this). All I Know So Far serves as both live album and soundtrack to the documentary of the same name. I love P!nk, I think she's one of the best performers in the game right now, but this album serves more as gif for fans. Yeah, it's great to hear crowd chanting to her classics like Just Like a Pill, but it would've been better to put more covers on this. I mean, both River and Time After Time is fabolous. And couple more new/vault songs would've been amazing. She served probably one of her best songs in a decade with title track, but that's it. We need more sis! highlights: Time After Time (Live), River (Live), Just Like a Pill (Live) 37 Evanescence | The Bitter Truth "Am I strong enough to change?" It's almost unbelievable that we waited 10 years for new music from them Evanescence used to be one of my favorite bands during my teens, so I always had sweet spot for them, even though their self-titled didn't work for me. The Bitter Truth is .. good? Like, they're still serving so much power and energy and Amy's voice is still so haunting and emotional. But as self-titled, this album is still far away from their prime, sometimes it feels like it misses, you know, personality on some tracks, I feel like they're never gonna record something like Hello or Good Enough again. There's many highlights, but they're kinda drowns under a bit samey-sound and production. I still loves most of it - and I think it works better as a whole piece. highlights: Better Without You, Broken Pieces Shine, Far From Heaven, Wasted On You TOP 150 SINGLES 108 London Grammar | Lord It's a Feeling "I saw the way you laughed behind her back, when you fucked somebody else" Easiest favorite from album for me, it's pure magic, one of these songs that gave you goosebumps. Hannah being a voice of the woman in toxic relationship (and even swearing) is so heartbreaking. It's so bittersweet to hear this dark lyrics with such an beautiful heavenly orchestral music. It's also such a beautiful bridge between more electronic sound of Californian Soil and their classical sound. 107 Olivia Rodrigo | traitor "It took you two weeks to go off and date her" This is the kind of a song that you kinda forgot about after album release, but it hits you weeks later. I didn't really paid attention to it before single release, but I need to say that I loved it more than Drivers License in the end, Idk, I love 'Lorde'-sound on first, but lyrics in 'Traitor' is so much more 'straight-into-the-face' and hits you harder, I actually felt her emotions and pain through this. 106 Tinashe | Bouncin "I been sending dirty pics, hope they make it to the cloud" Tinashe sis is capable of doing such a great bops tbh, this breezy ass-dropping bop is one of these. You can't actually just sit through this without immidiate wish to just jump and bounce your butt off. And I love futuristic sound of it so much. 105 Silk City, Ellie Goulding | New Love "I'm on my own, but I could never be lonely" It's a bit frustrating how we're getting just 1 song by Silk Sonic per 1-2 year And most of them are serve. And even though New Love never reaches perfection of Electricity, this is certified jam! It's just so upbeating and full of joy, pride and happiness. And whew, Ellie did a great as drunk diva in the music video! And 90s house club notes are so good on this. 104 Demi Lovato | Dancing With the Devil "It's just a little white line, I'll be fine" You know, I got so tired of Demi singing about her sobriety, addiction, then sobriety again Like.. stop, sis, we get that you're in messy relationships with drugs But, title track from their last album is pretty good actually, I kinda such a lover of dramatic pop songs, I adore 'It's just a little...' lyrics in it and all that orchestra here and there. Video is embarassing though, kinda ruined this song for me forever 103 Taylor Swift, HAIM | no body, no crime "I've cleaned enough houses to know how to cover up a scene" 'Goodbye Earl' of 2020s I love HAIM, I love Taylor, so their collab is practically ready for being an success for me I love theatratical lyrics, country sound, probably one of the most fun and memorable songs from evermore. I kinda get tired of it pretty fast though 102 Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande | Met Him Last Night "I never thought I'd be the one to fall" Another collab that sounds already good on the paper, but kinda fails to really impress me. I think that trap/r&b sound sounds a bit dated and song kinda goes on and on and ends nowhere. Entire dark/atmospheric idea would've been better with some other executuion tbh. Still, nice bop for few nights, probably hot video would've saved this.
