BoA - One Shot Two Shots - A bit of a banger but also kinda forgettable :notes: Aespa - Black Mamba - Idk it’s not my kind of banger… though I admit it’s decent IU - Jam Jam - Oop this was lovely, the chorus was really nice to listen to with the harmonies and textures :lemmelistening: f(x) - 4 Walls - The chorus really bops! SUNMI - pporappippam - It’s cute, kinda lacks a more catchy melody to make it more interesting. Eyedi - J.us.T - A chill little bop, it lacks a bit of punch but it’s pleasant. YUKIKA - Soul Lady - I enjoyed this a lot! Definitely one of my favs so far. f(x) - When I'm Alone - Oop ASC classic I think? Idk but I've heard this before and I'm obsessed with the chorus. SHINee - View - H&M bop? Not you sending men though… ITZY - Wannabe - Uf no this was annoying to get through. SUNMI - Noir - Just meh, her voice is just not interesting I fear. ITZY - Icy - Somehow worse than their other song, the chorus was so ugly. Taeyeon - I (feat. Verbal Jint) - I don't know what she's saying but it sounds corny, also terrible feature.

Fruity Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 perhaps the most slayful round so far omg Spoiler Eyedi - Caffeine: gorgeous, infectious, it's giving me visions of a warm + euphoric night dancing under the stars by a lake BoA - One Shot Two Shots: starts off a bit slowly but develops into this cheap catchy banger, a guilty pleasure! Aespa - Black Mamba: whew imagine releasing this experimental slay as your debut single?!?! this took a while to grow on me but i really enjoy it these days! IU - Jam Jam: the groove is lovely, and I love how this song incorporates the jazz elements. also really love the build into the final chorus. the vocal line is the weakest part unfortunately, i appreciate what they were going for with the kind of rhythmic and chromatic approach to match the production but it doesn't leave a memorable imprint in my mind f(x) - 4 Walls: whew this round is hit after hit... that literal gorgeous dance break in the middle kind of leans into this future house dance music that I was OBSESSED with back in the mid 10s... i will say the rapping part kinda lets this down a lil for me SUNMI - pporappippam: AHHHHHHHHHHHH i kinda thought this song would win as soon as the round was discussed! easy #1 Eyedi - J.us.T: well... it's kinda nice but it's not doing THAT much... feels a bit random and disjointed compared to other songs here. love that crisp bass but where are the hooks YUKIKA - Soul Lady: y'all **** eat this one up a lil too much I swear jffdjfdggf but yeh it's cute for sure. i appreciate the extreme fast pace + general chaos of the production while still managing to achieve a polished finish, thats not easy to pull off. the melodies arent really gripping me though, the instrumentation kind of takes the lead and I feel like I get bored of that by the end of the song f(x) - When I'm Alone: stunning + dreamy production, in a normal round this would score so well but there are more interesting songs here unfortunately SHINee - View: yeh I know this was a huge hit for them and I've seen many people obsessed with this song but the chorus of this was alway slightly weak for me. it's giving me 5h chorus teas ITZY - Wannabe: one of my K-SOTYs of 2020! WHEWWWWW.. the polished noise.. they perfected it here SUNMI - Noir: yuppppppp she always delivers I cannot deny it ITZY - Icy: SUCH a fun + messy bop! I definitely can understand why this one in PARTICULAR is polarising, but I was obsessed with this from my first play Taeyeon - I (feat. Verbal Jint): not good at all for me, sorree... slight shame to end this epic round on this note
