Drake NEEDS to make a video for Passionfruit or it will flop on the charts...

Especially with the tickets bundle and the awful reviews. ATRL expected a 90% drop The sales drop is 90% tho. How can anyone expect a 80+% SPS drop when you have 2 Top 10 hits right now? Let's be realistic, an average SPS drop is around 60%-70%. a 75% drop is pretty bad. Edited April 19, 2017 by Tremor Christ
thedastardly Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 People are really trying to push this Kendrick/Drake competition like one isn't a proper album release with promotion, videos, 7 days of tracking and physicals while the other one is a side-release with 5 days tracking. Okayyy.

Alejandro_ Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 John pulling in over 100K in pure sales with no hits. U go hunty.
Rentboy Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 The Chainsmokers being exposed. I guess tour ticket bundles will become a great ploy now for boosting album sales. Its another worrying trend that makes the playing field unlevel and corrupts the charts.

Crescendolls. Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 (edited) Quote Based on today’s numbers it appears Kendrick Lamar will beat Drake’s record for the year’s biggest debut. The TDE/Interscopestar’s DAMN. is now looking to bow at about 510-520k SPS , surpassing the 505k for Drake’s More Life; it’s already eclipsed More Life in sales. While the race remains tight, Kendrick has emerged as the favorite. Stay tuned." King Of Rap getting bigger with each release Edited April 20, 2017 by Crescendolls.
Bubble Tea Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Holy shizz. People really love Kendrick. The straights win once again.

Okayyy. Stop acting like More Life was a surprise drop. He had Fake Love playing all winter before dropping the ablum ( its not a mixtape...i dont care what he says, a mixtape you dont sell let alone do a deal Apple to sell it). 2 extra days don't matter considering how fast drake dropped in pure sales.

Kings. Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Congrats to Kendrick, but why is Drake being brought up when he didn't even release More Life physically and it's not a proper album?

Okayyy. This is what I'm not getting, we all know Drake easily eclipses his competition when it comes to album/singles sales and tour gross.

Yeah idk why some drake fans started bringing him up on the first page talking about him "not on drake level yet" etc. I thought drake fans were secure enough about his place in the pop rap game, etc?
