ATRL Moderator Element Posted April 11, 2020 ATRL Moderator Posted April 11, 2020 Hello everyone and welcome to the finale and reunion of ATRL Survivor: Season 9!! This season was... something. I will say that it had a very cohesive narrative and story-arcs, unlike some of the other seasons in ATRL Survivor. I think the album "High Highs to Low Lows" really does sum it up well, as the great moments were extremely exciting, while the bad moments were a biT ugly! The personal tension this season was definitely heightened by our use of Discord PMs for the first time, and we'll have to see how that applies in the future. As always, there were a lot of twists and hurdles for you all to fight through, and @rl231and I would like to thank you all for contributing to this season in your unique ways. We've heard many comments about how emotionally stressful and frustrating this game was. You have to have a pretty thick skin to handle Survivor. It's very difficult to manipulate and betray others and feel good about it. Regardless of this, we hope that you enjoyed as much as you could and learned something about yourself along the way! Thank you to our judges for their exceptional dedication to this season, as usual. Turning commentary and scores around within one or two days is very difficult, especially when there were upwards of 24 entries to look at. So many many thanks to @thecptz, @Astronomy, @URBAN, @kipperskipper, @prézli and @Dylan' for taking the time out of their lives to participate in this. Now, it's time for the moment that we've all been waiting for. The last three+ months have been building to this: the coronation of ATRL's ninth Sole Survivor. The power has shifted over to the members of our jury. All nine members of the jury have voted! Good work everyone! Tonight, you want to see your name on these parchments. For the final time this season, rl231 will read the votes....
