Poor Iggy.

Wow @ Country dominating sales now. With most of the youth and urban music consumers moving to streaming as the South lags behind country could become a regular thing in the digital T10.

LMAO at Goosebumps dropping out but it continuing to be sung by everyone I know on almost a daily basis. Hot 100 truly does NOT represent what's popular in some cases at ALL

Noah;s song had a good run :clap3:

The way they play it on radio, you'd think that it peaked higher than that.

I was lowkey rooting for her. If she couldn't get Mo Bounce to chart with a video,  then I think it's the end of her Hot 100 career.

If Nicki is ever desperate enough for that elusive #1, she'd collab with Iggy.

Future #1 :jonny:

This is Spotify btw, and it was +4 not +21 (but that's just because they finally fixed the problem where they weren't combining the clean and explicit versions)

It could definitely be a future #1, though. It's blowing up incredibly quickly and forcefully. :jonny3:

Yeah Periscope doesn't really stand a chance at Top 40, like you say it's still a little "rockish" even when it's by far Papa Roach's most pop friendly song, and also let's be honest Papa Roach it's not a big name neither is Skylar Grey (the female singer) so the only way pop would even dare to touch it is if it does insanely well on Itunes/Spotify which won't happen.

I guess the closest to rock we will see on Pop radio, besides Linkin Park, are songs by bands like Fall Out Boy and Paramore

Papa Roach's "Forever" is my favorite song of all time. So I still cheer them on. They actually have the #1 Active/Mainstream Rock song this week. I have heard it, and it's good. I can't think of the song's title off the top of my head though.

I still think Rock will reemerge at Top 40. It will just take the right song to do it. Disturbed's The Sound Of Silence cover was the biggest song originating from Active Rock radio since 2012. TSOS almost broke through probably 20 times lol, but it failed to fully catch on. If a movie or TV show had just played the song once, and there are several series where TSOS would easily work in, that would've made the difference.

If the right song catches on at the right time, that would bring Rock back to the table. There's another Second Chance (Shinedown). It's a question of when, not if, it happens. I still remember the "Rock 40" stations from the late 1980s through early 1990s, and how HAC actually leaned fairly heavily toward a resurgence of the "Rock 40" format in the very late 1990s through the mid 2000s. VH1's video countdowns 15 years ago had at the least a plurality of Rock songs in its Top 20.

That's What I Like needs to dethrone SOY already. C'mon Bruno, you can do it!

Zayn :skull: He was clever quitting 1D like the first one.

Harry will flop too.

At this rate, I know 2-3 more weeks are still on lock for SOY, but @simmnfierzig will TWIL snatch the top spot after those weeks, given its surge on radio and its current lead on iTunes? Or will Kendrick or XO Tour Lif3 (or Harry) block him?

How am I supposed to know how Kendrick, Tour Life or Harry will do in 3 weeks.

Would think TWIL will be the next #1. Would take something very special to that not be the case

I mean that's just guessing and I don't like to guess

I mean, you once concluded that LOTB would never reach the top spot, few weeks before its peak, so.. :fan:

Would be great seeing TWIL overtake Ed soon, thanks anyway :eddie:

King Kendrick with his first solo top 10. And Shape of You is finally starting to get dying. That's What I Like deserves that #1

Well yeah 20 weeks into a songs chart run it's a lot easier to tell where the journey is going. Humble and Tour Life are just exploding right now. Idk how high they will go.
