This isn't about "Wait until the movie is out!! it's early!!" We're talking about initial release impact which most girls especially one at Beyonce level would excel at. Even Megatron went #1 :deadbanana4:. Also this has the first banner on iTunes main page hmm.

I love Bey and the song but yeah, this. I was a bit surprised this didn’t go #1.

Eh I don’t even like Beyoncé but that’s a soundtrack song from a movie that isn’t even out. Just wait. Lmao. Anything to be negative and bash women.

Can y'all stop using all these side projects (EIL, Homecoming, TLK) to gauge her current career state :dies: I don't think TLK will be that huge music wise. However her catalog still pulls insane numbers, so I wouldn't write her off either. The public is still clearly listening to her a lot on a weekly basis.

Drive Bitch

Christina did it with Fall in Line which didn't have hype from the biggest disney movie of all time :dies:

Monsters always being the problematic fanbase, the one who wants to tear down other popgirls based on ridiculous reasons:toofunny2:

O.t TLK is not even out, it's a soundtrack so it trends to do better with the movie out.

But yeah she's over, poor beyonce never gonna see a success again, how's she going to be relevant when literally every popgirl (or rapper, or any musician) would love to collab with her:shakeno:

What’s most interesting is Halo peaked at #5 in the US and it stood the test of time and turned out to be bigger than the majority of the girls’ hits that decade. It also took a minute for the GP to pick it up. Meanwhile Beyoncé not having a #1 solo hit in over a decade is used as a drag in regards to her not being relevant. She has hits that didn’t even peak in the top 10 with more streams than the girls and their top 3’s :toofunny2:

Heard from the Hive that iTunes is RACIST!!!! that’s why she can’t hit #1

It will climb back and even hits #1 when the movie comes out... but it's weird that her fanbase couldn't give her the top spot from the get go, considering they're apparently everywhere :rip:

Thank you for proving the point that itunes number 1s are irrelevant and FIL failed to chart on the hot 100 :clap3:

I honestly didn’t even know it was released until I clocked out of work several hours later. I anticipated the release for the 11th, not the 10th. As did the rest of the base.

EIL, Homecoming, TLK

• A Grammy and $250m+ tour

• $60m Netflix Deal and likely winner of Emmys

• $150m opening weekend

If only the others could “flop” like this with their side projects

Yes, was responding to claim that Shallow was no.1 was weeks before ASIB was released when it was only out for 8 days before the film.

Monsters just never learn...It doesn't matter if it performs better or worse than Shallow.

At the end of the day the Hive got a new song to enjoy and movie to see. No one is forcing the song down anyone's throat.

Let Beyonce have her moment.

Even if I can’t stand her fans, i must say Shallow is a good song (but IWNLA is much better).

Spirit on the other hand...

The whole no interview, untouchable/goddess persona backfired. People are sick of it.
