These “less than 2 days” posts being from people who dragged ANTI for debuting at #27 with 16K from 20 minutes of sales... Interesting.

Get over it.

That's funny? From 1.5 days of sales? :toofunny3: Girl.

Taylor did 700K on a single day with reputation :ahh:

No it didn't, but the Carters are good.

Meanwhile Lemonade is about to scan multiplatinum in pure sales, her second this decade (not everyone has that).

Reputation is a studio album. :rip: This is a live album. Most live albums don't even chart. Most of Beyoncé's live albums have never charted. Girl, what are you doing? :toofunny3:

We did when ANTI went #1 the following week and ended up being the biggest female album of 2017 an entire year after its release.

Um that's a studio album of new material. Y'all and these false equivalencies are embarrassing :lmao:

Yet you felt compelled to bring it up, so I’m not convinced

Anway, congrats to BTS for landing another chart topper. :clap3:

Also, congrats to Beyoncé for landing another top 10 album in less than a year. :clap3:

All I did was draw comparisons to the reactions then to what’s going on now. :nicole2:

Not according to IFPI global music report, and certainly not according to Nielsen Soundscan.

but.. but sHe’S BeyONcÉ!!! :ahh:Y’all really thought she was on the same league as Taylor/Adele but if either of them released a live album today accompanied by a Netflix documentary they’d do much bigger numbers :fan: #7 is embarrassing no matter how y’all try to excuse it

I was referring to its BILLBOARD 200 performance. It’s interesting how you bring up Soundscan to try and shade Rihanna’s sales, but then you’re in here defending Beyoncé’s anemic sales on this week’s chart.

Again, how is #7 embarrassing after 1.5 days of sales? Live albums do not sell or chart these days, so these are fantastic numbers. But stick to your hypotheticals that can't actually be backed up by facts, if it makes you feel better.

38k is solid, she could've hit 75k with a full week with a live album!

but how many live albums have giant banners in itunes/spotify/am/etc. and have tons of articles like this?

Who else has released a live album version of a performance heralded as legendary and the greatest and most watched of all time?

Sorry, but these numbers are just not very impressive for an album as monumental as this.

Okay.

So ... what about the 1.5 days of sales? It's basically on par with every other live album mentioned in this thread that had almost 500% more time to  sell.

Therefore, given you agree the album is legendary, it seems pretty legendary in and of itself that in 1.5 days it can meet what every other live album (the ones that people are bragging about at least) has done in 7.

Beyoncé only 38K after all the promo and hype? Didn’t she have 2M tweets of homecoming? Embarrassing numbers :lmao:

Seems like those 2M tweets from the hives didn't translate into sales, shockedT

Why are people trying to drag a live album of songs people have already heard?

Why would you put it like that?

2 million tweets is supposed to garner more than 38K with 1.5 days of sales?

This is a live album!

And I bet very, very few of those tweets had anything to do with a live album. It was not announced.
