This report implies her catalog did 928K for the year. How would she do 224k the first 6 months, then 704k the last 6 months. That would imply her catalog did 3x better the last 6 months, yet 1989 still charts similar every week and none of her other albums have been recharting. Yes they'll naturally have differences from Soundscan since they don't have the same exact pool of data, but their numbers are commonly largely off. Scorpion is at 3.3m on this report, even though it did around 3.7m in 2018. + there's just foolish mistakes in the report that no company should've let be published. God's Plan (song) is their 11th most streamed album of 2018. The beginning of their report also says Quote In 2018 there was not a single song that broke one million sales.
