BlackoutZone Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Dagny No idea what happened to her after all these great pop singles
Body Electrician Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Quote Pop, Ironic why is this SENDING me
ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted December 11, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 11, 2018 Shotgun was kinda cute but I felt like he was so much worse this album than last
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 11, 2018 Author ATRL Moderator Posted December 11, 2018 95 - 91 Y'all remember Kate Boy? This is a bop (and is not a cover thankfully) the only Jess Glynne track I liked this era. a bop Amara got hyped a bit early year and gave us two bops then disappeared. I assume she's still on TV I prefer the Julia Michaels version we heard in the movie but I'll take this one as well. really gorgeous song no words tbh Youtube Links

theblackestday Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Don't know... don't know what they sang
BlackoutZone Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Rollin' is a cute bop, tbh also one of a few tracks from the era taht I liked As for Sink In - they played Julia Michaels demo in the movie and I'd rather stick to that one
Blue Rose Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Yes! Sink In my 2nd favorite from that underrated soundtrack
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted December 11, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted December 11, 2018 the list gets better right?
Temporal Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Wow, stan Dagny! Idk any of these other songs but since they're all indiepop I'll have to give them a listen
lhdang2000 Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Shotgun is such a pleasant surprise to me. I didn't know the songs from your recent set, but I'll make sure to check them out.
potent Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 I hadn't bothered with Jess Glynne this year, but maybe I should give some songs from her album a try. Shotgun is great, WDYDT is one of my least favorite songs from ASIB...
Tom Vercetti Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Big Bank. Heard that one before. YG went fully commercial on that.
miguel Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Love your Best of 2017, so I will definitely be checking for your list this year
Navyofbadgals Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Don’t care for the last bunch but I’m here to support a fellow stan of Loreens Ridesus also sidenote but I love seeing your comments sometimes on AOTY.org legend
World Eater Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 Shotgun is a smasha here, I keep hearing it all the time. And it's actually pretty decent. I was gonna say that BIG BANK was and YG's album served a massive .t decline but in the light of recent events I'm gonna keep my mouth shut
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted December 11, 2018 Author ATRL Moderator Posted December 11, 2018 100 - 98 Quote This came out super early in the year and stuck with me for most of the time. really a soft-serve Rihanna-esque debut from the good sis Justine Skye. Thought she was just a model (she's gorgeous as f*ck). The production is a highlight on this and she did give us some real bops. It bottoms out my list since the quality wasn't consistent and it's mostly on here for being played a lot especially the serves on this. Recommended for girls into Tinashe, Rihanna (Unapologetic, Talk That Talk etc.) Serves: Goodlove, U Don't Know, Don't Think About It Quote Saturdays has HAIM on it so that got me interested to check the album out though it remained the highlight as well (a fun bop). The rest of the album is pretty interesting especially the production. The slower tracks are a bit of a drag but still so emotional. I don't really know who to compare him to (not as rnb as like Blood Orange or Frank Ocean) ff but uhm he made some points Serves: Saturdays, When You're Wrong Quote MNEK is such a talented songwriter and producer. He has a great ear for pop and that shows on his debut. The production is a bit dated and the writing generic but his vocals and his love for 2000's dance pop helps this stand out for me. Gays need to get into him. PERIODT. Also that album cover! so intimate.. I love it. Serves: Correct, Crazy World, Free (ebony jenkins is honestly shaking)
