Sirius stations always play weird stuff. They're almost experimental
doonerr Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Okay, Look What You Made Me Do is not that atrocious to be dropped like that I mean if Shape of You managed to be Top 10 for that long The label must sure be telling them to drop it for some weird reason that this era seems to be filled with
Hanzo Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 @Mediabase How much spins do you think Taylor is going to lose tomorrow? and how much do you think Demi will gain?
Mediabase Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 BILLBOARD: TAYLOR BREAKS MULTIPLE RECORDS POP: [..] Meanwhile, last week's new Pop Songs No. 1, Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do," tumbles to No. 7, marking the steepest fall from the summit in the chart's history. It surpasses the 1-6 plunge of Shaggy's "Angel," featuring Rayvon (May 5, 2001). [..]OVERALL: [..] it concurrently plunges from No. 5 (its peak) to No. 20 on Radio Songs, where it's likewise the biggest fall from the top five since the chart began in 1990; it passes the 5-16 descent of Kanye West's "Gold Digger," featuring Jamie Foxx (Dec. 24, 2005). Mediabase Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 5PM EST and Taylor is at -400 already. You'd think with such historic decreases last week things would normalize a little bit this week since it is a rolling effect chart. But no. She is defying reason and math. Do you realize what kind of collapse we are talking about when she's getting a -500 update on top of a -800 update 7 days ago? Demi is at +151 so far.

Her label stopped pu$hing the song, and seeing how the GP rejected her radios don't have a single reason anymore to play the song. They played it like 20 times the week before she hit no1, then it all of a sudden magically exploded and they played it 104 times the week it hit no1 and then 3 times the week after it hit no1. A -101 drop. Never seen anything like this. Not just the drop after it hit no1, but also the extreme sudden rise on so many stations right when the tracking week began the week it hit no1 on pop.
