Yeah their Countdowns included Audioslave, Foo Fighters, Three Doors Down, Creed, Metallica, Shinedown, Papa Roach, Puddle of Mudd, Finger 11, Jimmy Eat World, Nickelback, Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit, Seether, Evanescance, Nirvana & Staind among others 15-20 years ago. But they also had some Faith Hill, Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, Carrie Underwood & the Dixie Chicks. Pink, Alanis Morrisite, Matchbox 20 & Meredith Brooks, who were in the Pop-Rock sphere were also very popular. VH1 adding Dilemma (Nelly & Kelly Rowland) & Destiny's Child was a BIG deal!

The more I think about it, Dilemma was the song that signaled the shift from the rock dominant era to the R&B/Hip Hop era. After that, acts like 50 Cent and Alicia Keys dominated radio/the Billboard charts.

This one is coming. Hopefully, it passes Creepin for #4 by Sunday, and then gets to #1 the week after.

Cupid might get a push when Pop decides to gut the songs at the top, like Flowers and Calm Down. Plus, Cupid’s adds date is next Tuesday.

Maybe if pop decides to gut Calm Down and Flowers, then Nonsense can go top 10.

hope radio gut down whatever they want to make Nonsense rise as much as she could since she’s a bop

In all seriousness, Pop radio needs to gut Flowers, Calm Down, Creepin, Kill Bill, and Die For You. These 5 songs have taken up 75-80k spins every day going on 3 months now.

That said, Nonsense shouldn’t be the one that breaks into the Top 10. It’s just about as old as Flowers and KB. I’d much rather have a newer song like Last Night or Double Fantasy fill in the void.

Fall Out Boy is positive again but still about 200 spins from the T40. Did FOB actually reach #40 earlier?

Yes, Love From the Other Side spent 3 weeks at #40, but I wouldn’t mind if they let this go, and pushed What a Time to be Alive to be the next Chemical.

Is What A Time To Be Alive also a Rock song? That's why I want FOB on the chart.

the current state of the world could have been avoided if radio would have gut flowers and calm down on time

Well after 17 months I see Country radio has finally given up on You Didn't. YD lost 2.89 million in audience today.

Wait so were you rooting for the Leafs or for Tampa Bay? :eli:

Toronto lol. The Bolts are my 2nd favorite. And interestingly enough the Lightning have built a franchise & huge fanbase by being almost everyone's 2nd fav team. I have friends there who cheer for TB as long as TB doesn't play the Sabres, Bruins & Rangers to name a few.

Talking to TML fans, they told me it's cheaper for them to buy a plane ticket to Tampa, rent a car, get a hotel room and find game tickets down there than to buy tickets to see Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. So I doubt I could afford to see Toronto play at home. I had wanted to change my avatar to TML before but thought I'd confuse everyone.

New Jersey Devils all the way for me. I became a fan during the first Cup run in 1995. Great to see this team actually have a great season/playoff run in the post-Brodeur era.

Yes when TML came to Tampa Bay the Amalie Arena crowd was almost 50-50.
