Nah, I don't raaLly care, who's number one. Any of my favorite bands of all time are all long gone. And the new stuff I like, rarely even charts on the Bb200 or hot 100.

It it is actually a good thing, it makes watching the charts far more objective.

i do get pressed though when stans put blinders on, and claim their fav does no wrong. At a week in top ten gets labeled someone a legend, and the like.

taylors album isn't doing as good as her previous. Eminem's album is not doing good as his orevious. But only Em is a flop on ATRL.

You can't seriously be comparing Eminem to Taylor. Reputation sold more copies in its first week alone than Eminem's album will probably sell in its entire chart run and you know that :rip:. Not to mention 1989 was literally Taylor's peak, of course Reputation won't sell as many copies in a worse sales climate btw. It's still an undeniable smash album.

Perfect is literally a paint by the numbers wedding song, you can tell he tried to cram up as much cliches as possible to get it played at weddings, it's so unoriginal, Gelaway Girl  is just :toofunny3: and the rest of the album follows suit, trite, unimaginative, empty and trying hard, but failing to achieve intimacy

Taylor achieved what Perfect failed to do with New Years Day, an actual song that is about intimacy that is specific to her and yet manages to be universal without relying on tired cliches

Congrats to Ed! The biggest artist of the year  without a doubt:clap3:

Ed is literally serving Longevity. #1 song and next week soon to be #1 album almost A whole year after release. This is unprecedented.

Shape of you is still selling well and perfect is smashing.

If we manages another top 10 or number 1 this era then Divide will definitely be in the top five eras of the decade.

Too bad SOY was snubbed for RoTY & SoTY.

My point was about how women are doing terribly lately otherwise, but okay talk about 60 years which also makes taylor look amazing.

Was she the only one to do it with three singles? I think Usher may have in 2004 with Yeah!/Burn/Confessions Pt 2

Adele is the only artist to do it with three singles:

It’s a record-setting three in a row for Adele. Three No. 1 singles in a row, that is.

The British soul songstress has earned her third chart-topper from her sophomore album, 21, as “Set Fire To The Rain” bumps Rihanna‘s “We Found Love” from the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart this week.

It’s the first time in Billboard history that an artist has placed as many singles at the top of the chart at the same time that the album it’s taken from is also No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart that week. (21 sits atop the album chart for a 17th non-consecutive week this week.) Here’s the break down for the previous singles from Billboard:

First single “Rolling in the Deep” began a seven-week Hot 100 reign the week of May 21, 2011, when “21” was in its sixth week in charge of the Billboard 200.  Follow-up “Someone Like You” crowned the Hot 100 the week of Sept. 17, 2011. In the song’s fifth and final week at No. 1 (Nov. 5), “21” returned to the Billboard 200 apex for a 13th frame.

I dont confessions pt2 was #1 a year after the first single hit #1. Before Adele I think the last time something like this happened was probably MJ

surprisingly, this year had one more 200k+ album sales week than last year, per ukmix, with 8 vs. 7.

(taylor x2, pink, kendrick, ed, drake, kenny, chris VS. drake, bey, cole, metallica, frank, prince, weeknd)

though there were only 27 100k+ album sales weeks, down 41% from 46.
