  4. I mean, sure, but there are tons of Disney stars who never amount to anything else after their teen shows end. And whose teen shows are never even 1/10 as successful or impactful as Hannah Montana. Miley's continued success is a testament to her talent and creativity and likability and knack for reinvention. Billy has none of these things and that's why he's very much a forgotten one-hit wonder. Miley made Billy 100x richer and more successful than he ever did on his own.

  6. Did Katy Perry Release the Worst Comeback Song of All Time? Perry's "Woman's World" is a catastrophic flop. We examine what it means for her career, and look back at other disastrous would-be musical comebacks, from Guns N' Roses to Robin Thicke THERE HAVE BEEN many one-of-a-kind historic events over the last two weeks or so, but arguably — arguably! — the most significant is the release of Katy Perry's "Woman's World," her hilariously catastrophic attempt at a comeback single. Thanks to its brain-dead lyrics ("sexy, confident/ so intelligent"), AI-like chorus, and Perry's startlingly tone-deaf choice to record a "feminist" song with the likes of Dr. Luke, the song prompted near-universal mockery, and instantly flopped. In the new episode of our Rolling Stone Music Now podcast, we look at exactly what makes the song so bad, and what it might mean for Katy Perry's career, with Brittany Spanos joining host Brian Hiatt. 19. Here is what ChatGPT wrote: Katy Perry's "Woman's World" Crashes and Burns: A Flop of Epic Proportions In a music industry rife with fierce competition and ever-changing tastes, Katy Perry's latest single "Woman's World" has emerged as a catastrophic misfire. Plunging to a dismal #63 on the Billboard Hot 100, it's not just the numbers that have left fans and critics alike scratching their heads—it's the sheer mediocrity packaged in a controversial wrapper. Let's dissect the debacle. Clichéd Lyrics That Put You to Sleep First up on the chopping block: the lyrics. Perry, once celebrated for her anthemic and empowering messages, seems to have lost her lyrical mojo. "Woman's World" serves up a tired cocktail of clichés that could have been ripped straight from a self-help book gathering dust in the corner of a grandma's living room. Lines like "It's a woman's world and you're lucky to be livin' in it." evoke more eye-rolls than empowerment, failing to resonate with a generation that demands substance over sentimentality. An Outdated Sound Lost in a Time Warp Moving on to the sound—oh, the sound. If "Woman's World" were a car, it would be a clunky old sedan struggling to keep pace on a highway dominated by sleek, futuristic sports cars. The production, helmed by the infamous Dr. Luke, reeks of yesteryear's pop trends, failing to capture the zeitgeist that contemporary listeners crave. It's as if Perry and Luke unearthed a forgotten demo from 2010, dusted it off, and hoped for a miracle in 2024. The Dr. Luke Dilemma: A Producer on Thin Ice Speaking of Dr. Luke, his involvement in "Woman's World" raises more than a few eyebrows. The producer, mired in a long-standing controversy with Kesha, remains a lightning rod for criticism and controversy. With Kesha's allegations of abuse still echoing in the industry's halls, Perry's choice to collaborate with Luke seems not only tone-deaf but also indicative of a disconnect with the current cultural climate. Sexualized Video: A Feminist Misfire And then there's the video—an exercise in contradictions. "Woman's World," purportedly a feminist anthem, somehow manages to undermine its own message with visuals that border on the gratuitous. Perry, draped in provocative attire and surrounded by gyrating dancers, struggles to reconcile empowerment with titillation. It's a shameless bid for attention that misses the mark, alienating both feminist critics and casual viewers who expected more from an artist of Perry's stature. The Aftermath: What's Next for Katy Perry? As the dust settles on this catastrophic release, the question remains: where does Katy Perry go from here? Once a stalwart of the pop music scene, Perry now finds herself at a crossroads. Does she reinvent herself, embracing a more nuanced and contemporary sound? Or does she continue down the path of diminishing returns, clinging to outdated formulas and controversial collaborators? Whatever her next move may be, one thing is clear: "Woman's World" will go down in history not as a bold statement but as a cautionary tale—a cautionary tale of what happens when an artist loses touch with her audience, her message, and ultimately, herself. In the ruthless arena of pop music, there are no second chances for those who falter. And for Katy Perry, "Woman's World" may just be the beginning of a reckoning long overdue.

  21. Well, yes. Putting a ceasefire in place to stop innocent people from being slaughtered and bombed every single hour shouldn't be too much to ask. America remains the biggest external influence in Israel. Demanding that the presidential candidate of the US support a ceasefire before you endorse them shouldn't be frowned upon. And if you know about the history of the current regime of Israel, you would realize it's basically a US/EU enclave. Its current regime is not 1,000 years old. Cher is older than Israel honey. The issue right now isn't even one fought in the name of spirituality. It's imperialism, apartheid, and senseless ethnic cleansing of civilians that must be stopped now.

  23. i have this fb bottom i been meeting up with since the beginning of the year, he's really cute and shorter than me so i can just pick him up and throw him around and stuff. we also make great content for twitter and he's got the phattest ass ever anyways i hit him up for my weekly h*le again yesterday and he came over and put his phone and keys next to my bed and went to the bathroom to put on his jockstrap or whatever he do, but my eyes glanced for a second and i saw that he has been streaming woman's world on his way. now i was thinking of asking him out on a date, but after what i just witnessed the smile on my face disappeared and started to question if i even 143'd him or was he always just one of the boys... he might also be a barb which would be the final nail in the coffin for my heartstopper teenage dream... but i don't have confirmation for that yet, so atrl what would you do if you were in my situation? i didn't wanna spoon him afterward which is unlike me :/ i think i lost my attraction toward him
