I'd like to see her have another big era for the pure novelty, but...I mean she kinda already got her Madonna comeback moment and the odds of it happening again are low. Emancipation was to her career what Confessions was to Madonna's. The difference is Mariah managed to get two successful singles after the Emancipation era was over, which really was more than I think anyone expected. She'll never have a resurgence in touring because she was never known as a touring artist to begin with. But honestly, I don't that she needs a big comeback at this point. It's not like she or Madonna or Celine or anyone at their stature has anything to prove anymore. There's nothing wrong with where they all are now. No amount of "comeback" eras are going to add to what already are some of the most robust and respected legacies in music history. Their place is already locked.
