  1. Doja - public meltdowns, Attention flopped, losing her fanbase by the minute Megan - label troubles & personal struggles, we love her but she hasn't had a hit since 2021 Cardi - delayed (shelved), not passionate about music, is she ever dropping an album? Meanwhile, Nicki is currently smashing with her 2ND lead credited hit in the past year. WW: #6 (+2) — 3,861,759 *New Peak* US: #2 (+2) — 1,405,851 *New Peak* UK: #4 (+1) — 287,784 *New Peak* CA: #3 (+1) — 186,584 *New Peak* AU: #3 (-1) — 212,140 *Peaked Yesterday* Apple Music: #4 US, #5 WW The song is mega viral on TikTok & currently looks like it'll be even bigger than Super Freaky Girl (a #1 hit) Now that the dust has settled, it's clear that Nicki has officially outlasted her main competition. She remains the top female rapper, with unprecedented longevity. Surprised? How did this happen?

  2. Margot was never the problem, it was the projects she was picking. Margot is an incredibly talented actress and frequently the best part of the bad movies she kept finding herself in. All it took was finding a good script for people to be reminded why she got so famous to begin with. If she keeps picking good scripts, the good fortune will continue.

  4. Failing to see the nuance of things is always the issue. "Parasocial relationships are bad" is not a new take nor a particularly edgy one. I think most normal and sane people agree with that. That's not what Doja is saying or what's happening here and to act like she has a point is weird af. "They don't love us because they don't know us" it's a matter of speaking if I say "I love dogs" that doesn't mean I actually literally love all dogs in the world. It just means that as a collective I find dogs lovable and like what they bring to the world and to our lives. Artists do love their fans in that matter of speaking. They love the appreciation they receive, they love the support they receive, they love being able to make a living out of art and that their job is actually doing something they enjoy doing thanks to them. I don't think any sane fan hears "I love my fans" from their fave and believes "oh so Taylor Swift actually is fully in love with me as a person." Who is actually arguing that? I do believe Beyoncé loves her fans. If you see her interacting with the crowd at her shows this tour and you think that woman doesn't love what she does and the people that are showing up for her, then you're blind. You don't have to be literal here. We ALL know what "I love my fans" means. If you're an artist and a performer and you don't love your fans, you shouldn't be an artist and a performer and you should find another career. She fully told a fan of hers who was just asking what they should call themselves if she didn't like "Kittens" and what their account should be named to delete the entire thing and log off. I'm sorry but that's not just rich coming from someone who has been terminally online her entire life, but also, just... out of touch and absurd. This rhetoric that being a fan or being interested in pop culture is inherently bad is just bizarre to me. If we aren't enjoying entertainment (music, art, dancing, sports, visual media, etc), then what are we enjoying? Working? People having hobbies is the most normal thing in the world. The key is doing it in a balanced way. If your pop music interest takes over your life or you become entitled to your fav's personal life and choices, then it's obviously bad. If you relish being negative and putting people down and fighting all day, then of course it's not gonna be positive. But simply being a fan and appreciating music or art and being able to escape from the harsh realities that a lot of us face in our day to day lives is not wrong and is not cringe and we don't need to "log off." We have no reason to believe the fans she has been targeting are doing fandom wrong or in an obsessive way, but we do have reason to believe that she has an unhealthy relationship with being online and social media because she's had multiple episodes of unhingedness since the beginning of her career. If she has a problem with her fans doing fandom, and using her art as escapism or connecting with it and making that a lifeline to make the bad parts of life bearable, then why is she performing? What's the point of what she's doing? She's against shallow pop songs and wants to make deeper art... but then also doesn't want fans to connect with it? Then what DOES she want? She's just trying to be edgy. She denounced her own past musical success because it's not edgy enough and has been pushing for an edgier look for a while now. She always wanted to please the incel crowd and incels don't think fandom and pop culture is cool. She desperately wants to be cool for them, her boyfriend included. Good luck.

  9. Her kids are home-schooled. I can't be bothered to go back and quote, but do you seriously think they aren't doing a hybrid education? It's incredibly common in LA because the nature of the industry the city is built around. Blue can go to school for two months and then vanish for four more with a private tutor. It's perfectly okay for Beyonce as a human to not want to travel the world touring, but stop acting like it's her restrictions as a mother. It's such a tired and basic excuse cloaked in outdated stereotypes.

Why is she constantly WINNING, especially after there were several viral posts about how her 'depressive sound' wouldn't fit the movie?

  37. Beyonce has kids, beyonce has a husband, beyonce is a woman, beyonce has a rusty knee, beyonce is busy running a million dollar perfume/olive oil empire, there is no feasible way for her to add any dates for other countries and people are asking wayyy too much, I can’t believe the fans are so selfish like this

  38. Then don't do dumb **** like this: as if she wasn't the one creating a fandom. Nobody said you have to kiss ass but those fans are what keep careers afloat, especially for people like Doja that obviously want thier music to be consumed. It's not that hard to say " I don't know y'all so I can't love you but I appreciate the love and support" like it's that easy but obviously she just doesn't give a damn enough to do it

  39. I mean stan culture is terrible but she's so paradoxical. She talks about people not caring about the music, but she hates her fans for supporting her even when she finally "starts doing the music she loves", which sounds just like her old **** - like "Attention" and "Paint the Town Red" do not sound radically different from her previous work. Then she acts like she's above the whole pop star game but the tour tickets are curiously on sale before anyone hears the album and she's got Ice Spice as an opener, who has nothing to offer other than a popularity boost for the tour, because she is a complete disaster as a performer. She's still on her socials interacting with her fans as well rather than just ignoring them altogether if she's so bothered by them. If I were at RCA, I'd pull the plug on the era and send her off to do some soul searching or I'd just drop her, because it's not worth all of this if the songs keep performing the way Attention has. And no, it's not performing poorly because it's too experimental because really and truly, it's not that experimental at all.
