They're so underrated I agrih with the first three singles being the highlights 14 hours ago, Eeveelution said: I can't be mad at most of those HMs, poor Big Thief deserved a bit better tho. Lots of good songs in that playlist, a nice idea! Big Thief may or may not appear on the song list, stay tuned 14 hours ago, theblackestday said: I hope Go Get It being on this list means it's the only Slowdive song to appear here cause it's possibly my SOTY and no other song from that album deserves higher Seeing lots of great songs in that playlist though Let me just say that Go Get It is the second best song on the album 12 hours ago, Vilppu said: LCD na początku nie byłem przekonany, ale kiedy zapomniałem o poprzednich dwóch albumach, zaczęło mi się bardzo podobać. Charlotte i Kelly były ładne, ale HM pasuje. Niby tak, ale wciąż liczyłem na jakiś career highlight typu Dance Yrself Clean czy All My Friends 12 hours ago, Coklek92 said: So low for Delicate Last year was better. I'm unstanning Let me just say that Delicate is the second best song on the album Haven't started the main lists though 11 hours ago, Playa Playa said: So many nice albums! World Eater Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 (edited) Spoiler Starting off with the song that made everyone believe that 'Everything Now' would be a great album. Oh how naïve we were Still, the album's title track is pure Gold Spoiler The contrast between distorted guitars and Harmony Tividad's soft and somewhat vulnerable lead vocals works so damn fine on here. 'Powerpool's' centerpiece is a great example of Girlpool's maturation. Spoiler When not singing about vampire teenage boyfriends, The Courtneys make shiny, relatable indie rock anthems. And nothing you say and nothing you do/Can stop me from thinking about you Spoiler On incredibly personal "Mythological Beauty" Big Thief's Adrienne Lenker reflects on her mother's life, her own childhood and their relationship. It's simple and strikingly beautiful. Spoiler Screw "We Go Home Together," "Marilyn" and "Blue Train Lines," "Delta" is the song that deserves all the praise Edited December 17, 2017 by AlexisNeiers
World Eater Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 (edited) Spoiler There's hardly anyone better at blending different genres together more than Moses Sumney - I have no clue how to even classify his debut album (it's not r&b though). I do know however what makes 'Aromanticism' so good. It's his ethereal voice, minimal production and challenging songwriting. Spoiler First of all, I wanna drag this for being all over the place but I’m just gonna blame Jack Antonoff for that. If we ignore the disjoined ("Pills") or uneventful ("Savior," "Dancing with a Ghost" + "Slow Disco") songs, the album's actually good! It may lack the career highlights, but hey, it doesn't stand out (in a bad way) from her other records. Edited December 17, 2017 by AlexisNeiers
theblackestday Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Not you calling the only somewhat listenable songs (Pills, Slow Disco) the worst. Anyways too high but I'm glad it didn't make the top 28

Tom Vercetti Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Neat and cool song choices. 1 or 2 of those may appear on mine later Vincent kinda flopped a bit here

Vxspertine Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Mythological Beauty Moses' album is very beautifully performed which is why it's good. Imagine a basic-ass singer trying to make an album like that Not you saying Pills and Slow Disco are the worst tracks They're among my favorites and there are some other tracks that are painfully generic on Asseduction
bluth Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 everything now they really baited us in with that one good track. but they delivered the kii's so i can't fault them for that. i didn't mind mount kimbie's album this time around but nothing really stuck out to me. big thief <3 masseduction too low! but at least it's here
