Green
Havana and Rockstar's gap being bigger this week than last week She should have discounted and released the remix the previous week Post Malone at this point doesn't even need an official video to stay at #1 for at least 5 more weeks. That audio clip is getting a lot of views on youtube (basically the same of Havana's official video, audio, remix and vertical video combined in the US ). I wonder who will be the next #1... brianc33710
RHas anyone made predictions for the 2017 Chart Year Hot 100? I'm going with: 1. Shape Of You 2. Despacito 3. That's What I Like 4. Closer But I don't know enough to go beyond that. Sam Hunt should finish in the Top Ten.

SealitwithaJ
They have put the Havana remix on TTH on Spotify & it is starting to reduce the gap after only being on TTH for 1 day! Impact of Havana remix Spotify change after 1 day: Gap between Rockstar & Havana this time last week was - 989,255 streams Gap between Rockstar & Havana today - 735,959 streams It has reduced the spotify gap week over week by over 253k streams, hopefully that trend continues & they keep the remix on TTH now it seems to be working! I remember people claiming Despacito would take over SOY and I made the argument that Despacito was driven by the summer and SOY is an all year around hit that will get enough recurrent play to keep Despacito at bay. Congrats Ed Good for Sam hunt as well. I wish country had it's moment to shine as the pop trend

I love making predictions for the YE chart every year, but I'm not feeling super confident about where everything place this year (a lot of songs seem to be in clusters within a few points of each other). I will be surprised if Sam doesn't end up in the top 10 tho. I haven't been keeping track like Ger has, but this is my take for the YE top ten. 1. Shape of You 2. Despacito 3. That's What I Like 4. Closer 5. Bad and Boujee 6. Humble 7. Something Just Like This 8. Body Like a Back Road 9. Believer 10. Congratulations/I'm the One I'm least confident about Humble. I could see it at #4. Beyond the top 10 gets pretty muddy. Pretty sure Say You Won't Let Go, 24K Magic, Mask Off and Unforgettable will fill out the rest of the top 15. How sales are for each after the discount, or as the discount drags on,me I'll tell is a lot about the true popularity of each song. yeah it'll be interesting. POst malone was dead wrong for that discount when it didn't need one. Let that girl get her first and possibly only #1 hit and then take it back after the video release.
