Sorry, but shes not an artist who you think of as having "classics" when you hear her name.

Sure she has other more impressive things, but she also has a few classics

Coz she doesn't???

But they do include DC in her biggest hits, but they don't include it in her total sales.

And this thread isn't about total sales.

But you stan Taylor so you're obviously not going to admit that Rih's features should be included in the OP so.... whatever :gaycat3:

The term classic is thrown around too loosely for this generation of artist. She's not even a decade into her career and people are in here calling songs literally released a few years ago as classics. Maybe years from now you can make an argument for her, but I don't think any of her music is old enough to be deemed as classic material.

Her career is 11 years old

But yeah sure if you have that opinion on classics and also think Rihanna, Katy, Adele and whoever of this generation don't have classics then that's totally fine.

If you think Katy has and Taylor doesnt is when I strongly disagree.

Firework will be more remembered than ANY Taylor song in the future. Let's not. There is a reason its 7 years old and has sold 7.2M and yet is in the Top 100 right now and still gets 1,000,000 views a day (More than any Taylor video sans Shake It off which is only 4 years old compared to Firework's 7). It's a 4th of July staple and a CLASSIC. Taylor can sell 50x more albums than Katy and that won't make any difference here. Firework is more known, and remembered, than any Taylor song and it will stay that way.

I don't like Taylor, but Love Story and You Belong With Me are obviously classics.

Both played on the radio today :rip:

Anyone who really is old enough to hear?

Anyone who has ever been in love?

Anyone who thinks back of defining songs of the 2000s?

Anyone who listens to country / AC/ HAC/ pop radio (literally they are still in constant rotation)?

Anyone who is striving to be a song writer in this industry?

Anyone who's name isn't 'Kkamjong' and isn't a pressed Taylor Swift hater hiding behind the fact that their favourite artist Katy Perry is name shaming to try to get publicity but is actually just damaging her entire career to the point where a top 80 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 is considered a success?

Not sure what you could really say 100% on topic here. :celestial5:

Well I could say that you have Demi listed at #14 and #19 in the op, but I really don't care tbh...

Is this embarrassing post supposed to be a drag? Doesn't change the fact that Firework is more known and remembered than any Taylor Swift track will ever be and some random YouTube clips of people singing a song don't make anything a classic :deadbanana3:
