CallumDavies Posted Friday at 02:07 PM Posted Friday at 02:07 PM He never had artistic integrity or appeal - just hits. Then he mistook his popular songs as his personal popularity and tried to make "real music" and realised his fan base doesn't exist Now he has no artistic integrity but also doesn't have hits 6

bopboy Posted Friday at 02:27 PM Posted Friday at 02:27 PM it's interesting he secured #1 on TTH for this still
Schami66 Posted Friday at 02:31 PM Posted Friday at 02:31 PM (edited) What really stopped me from listening to Ed Sheeran was the way his voiced changed after Devide. I don't know if it's a natural progress or production choices but I don't like it. I feel like his voice used to sound very warm and had volume to it while he started to sing higher and strained more offen after ~2019/20/21 Edited Friday at 02:31 PM by Schami66
UnusualBoy Posted Friday at 02:32 PM Posted Friday at 02:32 PM You can't ever rule him out but his days as this huge hitmaker are most likely over, he'll probably keep getting hits here and there tho. 2
John Slayne Posted Friday at 02:43 PM Posted Friday at 02:43 PM his new songs don't stick but didn't his recent tour gross like 900M? his catalogue will continue to carry him probably forever, especially once the 10s nostalgia starts kicking in next decade 1
Digitalism Posted Friday at 02:55 PM Posted Friday at 02:55 PM Yeah but he could release one of his corny ballads and easily come back. Thankfully he keeps trying it with watered down shape of yous 1

Fresh Out The Slammer Posted Friday at 04:10 PM Posted Friday at 04:10 PM I used to like Ed, but this is so pleasing to me considering he used to talk about comparing his stats to Taylor's back then to seem superior. I know Eras Tour made him FUME.
smartalek22 Posted Friday at 04:35 PM Posted Friday at 04:35 PM Sing is his magnum opus those who get it get it Azizam arts not the charts... tbh it's cute and sounds like it could become a radio hit or something idk???

Katamari Posted Friday at 04:44 PM Posted Friday at 04:44 PM Azizam doesn't sound like it would be as big as bad habits but who knows. Do people even know it's out

bestfiction Posted Friday at 05:02 PM Posted Friday at 05:02 PM I've just realized that he went from 3x Platinum in the UK to barely scraping Gold and that's his main market
FabForAThrowback Posted Friday at 05:54 PM Posted Friday at 05:54 PM Not now that I like this new song I know it's throwback-ish, kinda 2015's, but I'm too nostalgic and it works well for me. I'm not a fan of him, I liked his initial songs, especially Don't. At the time he was delivering such an interesting vibe, but when he became huge I lost interest because he kinda became the cheesy love song's master and I can't stand that type of music, after that I liked only South of the border. So I'm happy he went for a more animated sound this time.
Clarksonator Posted Friday at 06:17 PM Posted Friday at 06:17 PM Yea, it's so weird to me... Both him and Post Malone just fell of all of a sudden? I don't care much for their music but the drop was so extreme.
