Khal Posted Friday at 12:43 PM Posted Friday at 12:43 PM That Azizam song has the kind of vanilla genericness to it that Shape of You had so I was scared for a bit that it was going to be everywhere this spring/summer and potentially suicide inducing. But so far that might not happen, good things do happen sometimes 7
Strawberry Bubble Posted Friday at 12:44 PM Posted Friday at 12:44 PM this song is not that bad, though 1
Tm4074 Posted Friday at 12:47 PM Posted Friday at 12:47 PM Yes. His last hit single was payola-ed to the high heavens to get it to catch on but don't see that working for him anymore. He has no fanbase and relies on the GP. He's one of those artists that explodes with crazy commercial success because he appeals to everyone but that's short-lived with no loyal fanbase to support you once the GP moves on to their next generic fave. He never established a young, loyal fanbase like other pop boys like Bieber, Harry Styles or The Weeknd. 7
PerfectCure Posted Friday at 12:58 PM Posted Friday at 12:58 PM Yes, sometime between 2021 and 2023, the public had completely lost interest. 8
NEUTRON Posted Friday at 01:02 PM Posted Friday at 01:02 PM well well well... here we go again. whenever ATRL poses this question we ALL know what happens... 1 8
bielneira Posted Friday at 01:05 PM Posted Friday at 01:05 PM I never understood his appeal anyways 3 1
Shinkirou Posted Friday at 01:11 PM Posted Friday at 01:11 PM I think he's a hack. He's been involved in so many plagiarism scandals and he's settled many of them. He probably doesn't have the real talent to sustain a long career 6

єѕℓαм Posted Friday at 01:13 PM Posted Friday at 01:13 PM Thank god cos he was getting a bit cocky in interviews but reality slapped him right in his square ass face 4
terrorblade Posted Friday at 01:19 PM Posted Friday at 01:19 PM (edited) not ILYA being a part of this let me listen once i get home Edited Friday at 01:20 PM by terrorblade
burninredhot Posted Friday at 01:21 PM Posted Friday at 01:21 PM After listening to his new single I realised it's such a shame that he can't even make a catchy hit anymore (the only thing he was good at in the first place)
Devin Posted Friday at 01:24 PM Posted Friday at 01:24 PM yes and no. his peak is over but i think with the right song at the right time, the ppl will give him another hit.

Witnessed ET Posted Friday at 01:45 PM Posted Friday at 01:45 PM (edited) Well it was about time. His music all sounds the same, and he doesn't do much to reinvent himself. Well most male artists barely do but still stick around longer than female artists on the same wavelength, but he could only do that for so long before people got sick of it. another main thing is that he doesn't have a big fanbase and his success was mostly gp driven, so they just moved on after a while.
