Well... you got what you wished for Expand I get what you're saying but I can only be mad if she actually wants chart success. If she's just putting out music because she loves it and doesn't care, then just enjoy the music or not. No point in getting too invested since it seems she's not. I'm excited to see how the album flows in one piece. 1

I was expecting at least Used to be Young numbers / buzzing lol
Lady Claire Posted Saturday at 06:31 AM Posted Saturday at 06:31 AM The song is cute but her previous leads were far better in terms of being... a lead single. They were made for this, while EOT sounds like a good album track. Also she's lacking a main narrative or a major reinvention like she did on her previous eras, which helped the songs' popularity... i'm still kinda confused with the direction she's taking now and like it was already said by some of you, the posts in third person are boring and pushes her away from a younger audience. She's probably taking notes from Beyoncé's book and turning into this "untouchable/Goddess" pop figure but i'm not sure if it'll work for her... At least it's doing good for her mental health. It's just weird to see someone who's always been so outspoken, relatable and "in our faces" like Miley taking this route now. 4

She should have just dropped the whole album at once since she's going for a visual album and the songs have transitions between them. 4
Blankspace2010 Posted Saturday at 06:49 AM Posted Saturday at 06:49 AM This song will be fine. It's an obvious hit. Relax. Give it time. 7
Ger Posted Saturday at 08:14 AM Posted Saturday at 08:14 AM Expecting the "End of the Time, what went wrong?" threads at this point.

Erreur2 La Nature Posted Saturday at 09:20 AM Posted Saturday at 09:20 AM How have so many of you been able to access ATRL ? It's not been working for two days for me lol, this website is a crazy mess. Anyways, this new song is cute. I'm not fond of it but I like it. It has a summer vibe and the chants during the chorus are catchy. It's better than Something Beautiful imo.
halcyonday Posted Saturday at 09:27 AM Posted Saturday at 09:27 AM (edited) I didn't know this was the lead until I came here. I saw something beautiful a few days and assumed that was the lead and this is a promo single or something. Crazy that they wasted her comeback hype on that mid song. This one is miles better. GipJo Posted Saturday at 09:29 AM Posted Saturday at 09:29 AM US Apple Music - Pop #37 End of the World (+1) Even Ed Sheeran surpassed it. She should call the valley and ask to get the perform spot that FKA Twigs canceled in Coachella. 2
shark_heather Posted Saturday at 09:35 AM Posted Saturday at 09:35 AM Gurl this is what happens when you refuse to tour
VeniceBeach Posted Saturday at 09:36 AM Posted Saturday at 09:36 AM Doing MARINA numbers on Spotify Well, I can see this being a cute radio hit in the future
jijie101 Posted Saturday at 09:42 AM Posted Saturday at 09:42 AM This is gonna be lucky to debut above 2M tbh Katy's Woman's World at least charted on WW AM on first day I believe.
Mr. Stratus Posted Saturday at 09:43 AM Posted Saturday at 09:43 AM It could become an AC boomer hit that reaches 400m in 3.5+ years but I don't see anything else currently
paperfectdelusion Posted Saturday at 09:45 AM Posted Saturday at 09:45 AM The song desperately needs a narrative or a story to make it more impactful, unfortunately the music video didn't do that

UnRayuki Posted Saturday at 09:51 AM Posted Saturday at 09:51 AM I still think it will work chart wise in the long run, melodically is too strong to fail. 4

Swiftie In Red Posted Saturday at 10:19 AM Posted Saturday at 10:19 AM Flowers is arguably gonna be the biggest song of the decade anyways, so she probably thought **** it had the album, Jaded or UTBY been bigger, maybe we'd be having another conversation. Honestly though, she could flop to Mars for the next 5 years and smash with another anthem in a few years time. She's Miley Cyrus. An established, Grammy winning icon at this point. The same CANNOT be said for Ms. Perry or Ms. Diamondis 3
Swiftie In Red Posted Saturday at 10:19 AM Posted Saturday at 10:19 AM Anyway, this song is STELLAR 2

beyonceparkwood Posted Saturday at 10:24 AM Posted Saturday at 10:24 AM Can y'all just enjoy the era? 😭 The previous era had a monsterhit but the album was slightly underwhelming. This time around, however, she seems to be truly at a newfound artistic apex and she's only delivered 9+/10 songs yet. She's clearly fulfilling her purpose outside of the charts, thank god. 5
Summer Boy Posted Saturday at 10:33 AM Posted Saturday at 10:33 AM The song is okay, I like the Abbaesque production, but overall the track lacks something. The chorus is kinda weak. Also the mix is terrible. 1 1 1
