Maybe Billie should jump on the country bandwagon and become a cowgirl.

seems to be the thing all mpgs do eventually.

The genres you named, the most acclaimed artists in those genres DO switch it up pretty much every album. :rip:

Kendrick's GKMC, TPAB & DAMN don't sound the same and they all explore a different concept and themes inside those concepts. He never got AOTY and he's more acclaimed than every woman mentioned in the OP.

Some people actually value those things :skull: clearly it's not the whole academy considering what he winning most of the time.

I agree about Kendrick, but insinuating that wouldn't apply to Billie's first 3 albums is absurd and could only be stated by somebody that doesn't actually listen to her :skull: You don't have to run to a half-hearted attempt at an entirely separate genre to "switch it up"

CC will never be seen as lesser. Maybe by you and your little friends online. But who tf are you? CC being seen as AOTY by the Grammys is what really matters iktr :gayoncecat3:

Half hearted or not, there's voters that would and do appreciate that more than the differences between her albums. His POV makes sense for what he seems to value artistically.

Cry about what?  :deadbanana2:Only one album is AOTY and it's CC. You're the one pressed about it.

About how everybody knows that her and her husband bullied the comitee for this award because litte miss greedy was not satisfied with 30+ grammys. It's lesser and not worthy.

The only person feeling not worthy I guess would be Ms. Eyelash, who walked away with ZERO awards :toofunny3:

The general public sees it as a fraudulent win regardless of beehive gaslighting you into thinking its just "you and your little friends online"

Come on, that's not such a hard pill to swallow. One would think that the Hive is used to their fave being called out a fraud.

But there's one thing you can't call her this year, and that's a LOSER :cm:

How about Eyelash? :allears:

His POV makes sense for the fact that he is a dedicated Beyhive that dislikes Billie (and Taylor), and is passing himself off as an objective conciliator.

It's always funny to me when people say that Billie didn't innovate with hmhas because she never said that her goal with this album was to create something super different from her previous albums. She literally said that hmhas is like a more personal version of wwafa and she absolutely nailed it. I hate that people think that an artist needs to innovate with every single album they make. Beyoncé herself only started innovating with her sound after her fifth album, same thing with Taylor. An artist can make good albums without having to change genres every single time. Specially Billie, who incorporates so many different genres into her music, from trap to jazz.

Be serious... As for Billie, well, she wasn't merely a vessel for other people's creative ideas for 30 years to achieve what Beyonce just did. And didn't have to force out her award so there is that.

Beyoncé won a Grammy this year. Billie did not achieve that. What are we even talking about? :cm:

Debatable, but sure I'll give you that. Within those first 4 albums though, each of them sounds WILDLY different from each other.

All the people saying "Billie needs to PUSH herself MORE!!!!! SHE KEEPS RELEASING THE SAME ALBUM!!!"

Even if that were true, she's 23 years old and just made her most acclaimed and, yes, different body of work. Sorry she isn't exploring country and jazz genres yet. When Bey was 23 she just released DIL which was hardly different from her DC material. Artists develop at their own pace, Billie released an amazing album and she's very young.

The people acting like she's had a 3 decade career releasing the same album should relax :rip:

This is literally just one vote out of thousands. Clearly others thought similarly considering Beyonce literally won the top prize.

It's interesting that there were blind ballots during Renaissance's year from voters that evidently pointed against Beyonce. Everyone was supposed to just accept the "opinions," but now, when it's precious little Taylor and Billie, their fans are attacking people who are just giving THEIR opinion.

Crazy how every time Beyonce wins something it's always a conspiracy :rip: She can't ever WIN like everyone else does every year.

He doesn't have to justify his opinion...but there were people saying Beyonce didn't deserve it before now because she wins plenty of awards anyway.

Which is obviously nonsense.

Now other stanbases know how it feels I guess :suburban:
