I won't be spending much time at the Pyramid this year I guess Worse than Coachella? 😳 If that's true, I guess festivals are the next thing to fall off, huh?

I hear Charli's gonna be headlining the Other Stage so that's where I'll be.

Like they couldn't get anyone exciting? i know they had Dua last time and she did very well. I believe Dua had a bigger catalog in the UK and a decent live performer.

Dua and Colplay were both pretty great last year... Sza was objectively a massive flop, I've never seen the Pyramid so dead. Neil Young... is a choice cuz he's not got the everlasting catalogue McCartney or Elton do, and Olivia is giving Sza where the average adult British person wouldn't really bother going to see her, especially when possibly someone like Charli could be just down the road...
makeawish Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) Quote We're excited to reveal our first Glastonbury Festival 2025 line-up poster. The 1975 finally bring their incendiary show back to Worthy Farm to headline the Pyramid Stage on the Friday, while Olivia Rodrigo will close out the Festival on the Sunday night – headlining the Pyramid for her first appearance at Glastonbury since her memorable Other Stage set in 2022. As previously announced, Neil Young will headline for the second time after an unforgettable set in 2009, while Rod Stewart will take to the Pyramid Stage in the Sunday legend slot. Charli xcx is set for her biggest performance at Glastonbury after taking over the world with her BRAT album and tour, headlining the Other Stage on Saturday night. Loyle Carner will headline Other on the Friday and The Prodigy will close the Festival there on Sunday night with a show that will be their first here since the tragic passing of frontman Keith Flint in 2019. RAYE returns to the Pyramid Stage to play penultimate to Neil Young on Saturday night, following her breakthrough set at lunchtime on the same Stage in 2023. Perhaps the hottest new artist on the planet, Doechii, makes her highly anticipated debut at Glastonbury to headline the West Holts Stage on Saturday night. There will also be other first time Glastonbury sets over the weekend from a plethora of artists including Noah Kahan, Alanis Morissette, Gracie Abrams, Busta Rhymes, Lola Young, Brandi Carlile, Myles Smith, En Vogue, Amaarae, Cymande, Shaboozey, Osees and Gary Numan. https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/news/glastonbury-2025-line-up-so-far/ Edited March 6 by makeawish

BlackoutZone Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) Doechii is not headlining and neither is Charli.. but they are the highlight of the line up for sure Edited March 6 by BlackoutZone 1
GoodGuyGoneGhetto Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) The actual headliners are Neil Young, The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo. The rest (minus EnVogue) are Khia's. Edited March 6 by GoodGuyGoneGhetto

oscarscheller Posted March 6 Posted March 6 So are we excepting a new Olivia album/era? Or is it the show to end the GUTS era?
wigglytuffer Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) Honestly a pretty weak lineup when all things are considered. I do kinda feel sorry for Olivia bc she is going to get a wave of hate from the Glasto diehard fans, but in all honesty she lowkey shouldn't be a headliner and i say this as a fan. There's no denying how massive she is but i think being around for 4 years and having two albums should not warrant you a headline slot. It should be for the likes of a Rihanna, Gaga, Madonna, Mariah etc. It's the biggest festival in the world! That being said, I hope she puts on the show of her life and the magic of glastonbury lies within the smaller stages, random DJ pop-ups, being on the hill and at the stone circle until the sun comes out so regardless everyone will have fun oh Charli will be headlining the Other Stage btw which is going to be a bloodbath considering it's Neil Young on the Pyramid so pretty much anyone under 40 will be going to the Other Stage Edited March 6 by wigglytuffer 2 1
