How did you feel when you turned 30?

Turned 30 like 6 months ago, just before that I made the decision to get my body into shape, havent missed a training since! Guess it was so scary to turn 30 knowing I failed to improve my body over and over again :dies:

Now, 6 months later I'm seeing a lot of muscle progress and I'm proud of myself.

Also, planning to move by the end of this year, that will be another major change in my life. Feel like 30s are gonna be amazing.

I'm 26 but I found the Deeper Well so idgaf how old I am, inner peace is here and she ain't going anywhere. I think once you get that perspective age is literally just a number. Like I'll be 87 and STILL streaming TTPD, idgaf.

Have you managed to bed that hot coworker of yours yet?

OT: I still remember celebrating the huge comeback of Cher during my 30th birthday :jonny6:

I turned 30 during the pandemic and I was stuck in my house :rip: some weeks later I also had a serious wrist fracture that had me inmobilized for a large part of 2021 so I became a miserable blob and I honestly felt soo pathetic but I snapped out of it and now at 34 I'm thriving thank God, it is a state of mind only, the 30s are still young xx

Honestly, nothing. :rip: Dates like my birthday, Christmas, New Year and National Holidays, I care less and less every single year that pass by.

I have burned through my 20s mostly just avoiding opportunities and being scared of aging. I turn 30 this year, and while it terrifies me how much I missed in life, I hope I can at least make peace with myself and make the most of the life that I have :dies:

It happened during covid so I'm still 29 :gaycat4:

Honestly? The only thing that worried me was that I wouldn't be attractive to guys in their 20s anymore. But other than that, I didn't care much. We're all getting older each second we're alive, after all. No one is immune to that.

i feel the same cause 30s are the new 20s and we lost two years with the pandemic. So i was 28 instead of 30

I felt nothing. Age is just a number.

And the 30s are my best decade :gaydonnacat1:

I was a little sad/emotional for the first few hours. But now I mention being 30 five times a day, I love it

I turned 30 last September and I didn't feel any different than I did before. It is weird that my age now starts with a 3, though, because I feel like i was in my 20s forever.

Nothing. I'm still the same person I've always been, I stopped putting any real emphasis on my age.

How are so many people commenting? I thought gays died when they turned 30?

It made me come to terms with the fact that I won't have time to do all the things I want, so I came back to old hobbies, stopped working too much, and now trying to spend a little bit of time each day doing what I truly love

It's different for everyone for sure. Personally I found it a little bit anxious and it's just felt weird somehow that you're saying goodbye to your 20s and as 30 begins you just feel it's kinda special on its own.

Literally nothing changes at 30.

Sure, I def feel more mature mentally now at 32 than I did 10 years ago, but aside from that. Health wise, healthier than I've ever been. I'm more charismatic overall, more confident then ever.

Just focus on staying healthy, reach out to your family and friends regularly. Continue doing what makes you happy, no matter how childish it is! Continue finding new connections with similar hobbies/interest.

Gotta keep life exciting!

Lots of fellow 95 babies turning 30 this year in the thread hey yall

I'm not worried about it. Some of my friends and all of my peers at work are 30+. In my line of work particularly (teaching) it almost feels like I should be 30 otherwise I don't have enough experience to be a good mentor for all these teenagers.

Being 20 is overrated, I am much more settled and confident now than I was back then and I don't miss it. And I don't even really look that different either. Maybe I'll feel differently about the looks side of things by 40 :suburban:
