27 tracks and only 3 million streams after the halftime show performance.

That is insane.

The country fan base isn't listening point blank and most of her casual base prob doesn't care for country. It's on mostly her Stan's supporting.

This album was for the arts though

Imagine your whole damn album getting 3M streams with such a monstrous promo. Didn't Sabrina's 10th album track do more?

"monstrous promo" and it's one (1) performance after 10 months of silence :rip:

Not the same bunch of pressed souls literally rushing in here in minutes.

Do you spend your days in group chat seething about Beyonce? :bibliahh:

God, she may flop in streams but she's certainly #1 in your heads. She must be doing something right :gaycat1:

Beyoncé has the burden of being compared to herself and with people 10 years+ younger than her … so while i look at these numbers and they look unimpressive on paper, it's also a woman that has been in this industry for 30+ years and made a country album after traditionally making R&B music her entire life

its still impressive to me

It's almost as if Cowboy Carters "impact" was made up by her fans to compensate for actual impact (people listening to the music)

Or it's almost as if Spotify streams have literally no relevance to impact whatsoever.

But does Sabrina match Beyonces first 15 years in the industry?

Did she do 17 weeks at #1 with 2 songs off her album, will she score 5 Grammies in one night? And can she achieve such things multiple times? Things that remain to be seen I suppose

Exactly.  Why would an artist want streams or views or chart success when they can have fans who say it had "impact".

Being the first Black woman to top the country charts, and giving several Black artists their first Billboard entries (on the country charts or Hot 100), award nominations, and national exposure is in fact, objective impact.

Fortunately, Beyoncé has both, which is why she's sold over 350 million records and is one of the top 10 most streamed female artists as well as having a humungous impact on the music industry.

Impact is a non-measurable, non-objective metric.  I could say Shaboozey was the one who put Cowboy Carter on the map, and there's nothing you can say about it.

You could say that, but Shaboozey would tell you that you're wrong himself.

We could say that's factually incorrect seeing as how he blew up post-Cowboy Carter release. But hey, you'll do whatever you can to try and deny reality because it doesn't fit your narrative.

So you're using a non objective metric, impact, to claim that objectively, Beyonce has no impact. So you essentially admit that you're talking bullshit.

What do you mean "blew-up"? I hope you're not talking about numbers, because we're talking impact

You're the one saying that he put the album "on the map", you can't do that without visibility sweetheart. You seem to be really struggling to keep up with this discussion here. :heart2:

I watched the video and I must have missed where he said Beyoncé's impact is the reason for his success?
