I don't get why Brenda is so far this year

Hmmm..... I disliked a post on this thread I found borderline offensive instead of funny. That person disliked 2 of my posts in retaliation. Hmmm..... EDIT: Then someone disliked this post. Hmmm.....

Not so close according to TOTC.

So if Kendrick didn't release in the christmas season he could have had 3 different back to back #1s :deadbanana4: I sometimes really hate this time of the year.

Brenda did a decent amount of promotion last year if I remember correctly - maybe that's part of it?

Tangent - I don't "use" All I Want these days but as a lambie I'm always excited to see MC back on~ hoping she can get to 17-18 this year.

Mariah will also have the 1st #1 of 2025 :alexz:

Yeah, it seems that Brenda won't be that close this year unless she promotes.

It looks like Luther is going to be the #1 once the holiday season is over. It's holding up the best, and it looks like Pop radio is going to push it.

Unless, of course, Kendrick is really serious about dropping another album on Dec. 27, then something from that new album will be #1. Either way, Kendrick has the first #1 post-holiday season on lock.

Last year was RATCT 65 anny, so her label did the big push to get her over the top & finally up to #1. This year is AIWFCIY 30 anny, so Carey's label will probably do extra work should Lee get too close. Lee probably won't try as hard for #1 this Christmas.

Mariah Carey's version of "O Holy Night" is probably my favorite Christmas song of all time. I just wish that song could be #1. She would still be #1, just with a different/better/much more amazingly performed song. @Azulito as could Underneath the Tree. I'll pull for UTT.

I know y'all will hate this idea but we need Mariah to collect her things and then come back the first two weeks of next Xmas season to gather her record back and THEN a Last Christmas remix with Mariah needs to be released to snatch #1 for both acts.

Last Christmas should be up next but I'm not sure what else will push it there, for this year, it's good that it has a new peak.

Well, AIWFCIY is consistently ranked as the best Christmas song of all-time and is musically very strong so keep arguing with the wind.

I think last year the song turned 50, so there was a bigger commotion for #1

So unless SZA pulls through with a smash from SOS deluxe or Kendrick drops a second time, DWAS will be the #1 contender after Christmas :deadbanana:

It looks like Santa Tell Me is performing slightly better this year for some reason, but looking at the latest predictions they both could end up going top 10 if the non-Christmas songs fall enough.

At this point I'm recovering my

hopes "Die With a Smile" will have a chance to reach #1 on Billboard Hot 100 post Chritmas. It seems It'll be among it and "Luther"

Bruno and Gaga's team will most likely respond to the possibility of #1 first (idek how atp after the versions, physicals and discount already happened), Luther seems like an inevitable #1 (and should've been the album's first #1 :suburban:)
