badgirlriri Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Billie Eilish is a living legend and will be remembered as such. 1 1 1
martassak Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Beyoncé is overrated as hell, she's not an artist but a face that sells a product made for her and that self proclaimed royality mask she has on is incredibly unlikeable and annoying 1
Funnyfatty Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Lady Gaga is over since 2011 and another woman took her career over. Her career decisions are DUMB as the only thing she did is erasing EVERYTHING we loved about her and made other people believe that she is a normal woman. + i'm tired of hearing all her problems all the time like stfu? Taylors music SUCKS. Britney is still and will forever be the face of pop music. Christina is super talented but her biggest problem was the choices about the songs. I think if she would be untalented her discography could work but she is too talented to make those dumb songs. Stripped is her only respected album for a REASON. Rihanna quit music because she is the most abused popstar to exist. Once she stops her career with jayz the drama would be enourmous and i believe they would have tried to end her. Instead she totally changed her career path and became even more succesful. A path no one can abuse her. Beyonce is evil and cowboy carter is a MESS. Self titled is her last good album. Shakira is super succesful but still feels underrated. She is performing better than ANYONE even though she came out in the 90s. Once we mention legends Shakira is the first we should mention. you can delete Mariahs whole discography and just keep her remixes and it would still be better than most popgirls careers

She was bragging about Pete Davidson dick size like two months after she broke up with "the love of her life". That would send any person beyond the edge. i wouldn't say responsible but releasing better off and everything about pete for sure made mac at least 100x times worse
Romova99 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Madame X is a great album and if it was released by Beyonce it would have been praised a lot, specially for the visuals/theme. Billie Jean is awful. 1

It should've been a new career peak moment for her. Social media gays, particularly the conventionally attractive white ones, are some of most shallow and toxic people I have ever seen online, and that narcissistic and deeply judgmental behavior has carried over into real life. They think they are the popular, pretty Regina George and didn't get the memo that you're not actually supposed to want to be like her, lol. The way they shamelessly favor people who are conventionally attractive and only hang out with people who look like them is honestly quite gross and should not be considered acceptable/normal. We need to have more honest conversations in general about how gay men tend to treat each other like trash and quite frankly disposable sex objects. We are NOT a unified community, and in times like now, we really should be more than ever. I think it is a much bigger problem than our community is willing to address currently within itself. Honey you spilled on these points. I was LATE LATE LATE but literally this week I've had an epiphany about Eternal Sunshine and realised that it really is an incredible, Grammy deserving career peak. It's truly all the best things about "Ariana Grande" the pop star and artist distilled into one record. "yes, and...?" was kinda a weird lead to represent it but was still a mega banger that I had on repeat all year. And as for the gays, ugh. I manage to scrape into certain gay spaces on account of being tall, white and okay looking but lorde, I went to this kinda "popular gay" party on the weekend an dit was just so weird. All these open relationship 30-somethings manouvering around each other, blatantly the better looking guys getting all the attention, PoC absolutely on the party's sidelines (if there were any now that I think about it... eek)... issa damn mess.

HeavyMetalAura Posted 7 minutes ago Posted 7 minutes ago I think — with the exception of radio being given too much weight — the Hot 100 has never been fairer or a more accurate depiction of what is being consumed than it is right now. People are upset about album bombs, the way songs will debut at the top and become "number one hits" only to become total flops the next week, Christmas songs taking over every year… it's not what us oldies are used to, but it MAKES SENSE. It makes sense when a heavy hitter like Taylor or Kendrick drops an album that their album tracks will be the top 10 most consumed of the week. It makes sense for people to rush to check out a new single and then get tired of it the next week, hence a number one debut and a fall to number 30 in Week 2. And it makes sense for Christmas songs to overtake the Hot 100 for a month every year given how much the public consumes them. In short, the Hot 100 has never been more accurate or fair.
