Not at all. Especially as someone who knows people that went through medical bankruptcy and barely survived.

I just don't want the FBI at my door. :rip:

Next up should be Elon Musk :ryan3:

Grimes deserves the biggest piece for that imo

She rawdogged with that man all these years, I'm sure he's dry as hell

They better season him :ryan3:

Can someone give me some context as to why someone would want to assassinate this man?

He's the leader of one of the largest insurance companies, I can imagine how he could make a few enemies

Oh okay, well gurl, the FBI has no reason to come to my door. I legit have no reason to kill a CEO :deadbanana:I don't have that kind of energy, but FBI would be crazy to think I would.

If people were looking for symbolic signposts for the breakdown of late-stage capitalism as it enters its chaos phase before completely disintegrating, this is a pretty damn good one.

absolutely. The two back to back assassination attempts on Trump, the rise of the right wing worldwide, these various assassinations attempts and successes and other things are all huge harbingers of whats to come and are symbolic of the decay of the US and the systems holding it in place tbh...

I agree with the first post that my main reaction is a distinct lack of surprise that the impacts of the US healthcare and health insurance system have come to this. This is not an encouraging sign for what's to come.

This was absolutely a paid hit, no question in my mind.

I can't speak to his personal life but being the CEO of a health insurance company in America has a pretty compelling motivation.

Anywayyyyy, privatising healthcare will always fail the public.

This is an unsurprising and some (allegedly) would say a just outcome! Again… Some and allegedly. :bird:
