It went number one for a tracking week in 2008 but the chart was not released until the following week in 2009. Either way though sasha as you said didn't go number 1 that year.
LegaMyth Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Didn't JLo achieve this feat in a single week? 1

Thats the bilboard chart weeks which run a few weeks ahead of the actual date. So the first two weeks of the bilboard year in 2009 were for the last two weeks of the calendar year in 2008.

LegaMyth Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Wait... I don't think The Bodyguard went to #1, despite being the 2nd highest grossing movie of 1992. Please tell me that I am wrong.
AshleyLovescats887 Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Not this thread getting derailed so hard to just being "Gaga flop or not" lowkey iconic

Please tell me that I am wrong. It didn't go #1 in the weekend box office rankings according to imdb box office rankings on opening week, so if they're referring to the Bodyguard movie for Whitney, then they're wrong. Plus, they're forgetting Janet had #1 album, song and movie all in 1993 with her janet. album, "Again" song from the Poetic Justice movie.
