Michael196 Posted Monday at 10:06 AM Posted Monday at 10:06 AM All this fighting when Taylor is the one missing, since she did it in 2012 first with, sacRED, WANEGBT & The Lorax She even missed it by a hair 3 times between 2009 & 2010: Fearless & Hannah Montanna the movie in 2009, where You Belong With Me got blocked at #2 by I Gotta Feeling and Speak Now & Valentine's Day in 2010, where Today Was A Fairytale got blocked by Tik Tok AND Mine debuting at #3 behind Love The Way You Lie & Dynamite, with a partial tracking week since it leaked and got released earlier than planned shoutout to Love Story in 2009, blocked by Bad Romance, Single Ladies & Live Your Life 2 1

Not quite mental gymnastics to understand that one.

This has been a topic/qualifier since Jlo achieved it first. There was even a BB article about it. They made that requirement. It's not that deep. 2

This isn't a random stat it's a bunch of arbitrary qualifiers strung together to shut out a hit single and movie from literally 5 years ago. Y'all can't move on. I know you saw the potential for some ASIB denial in 2024 and got a little high off the excitement as you ran into the thread. Sis were you having a seizure when you typed this? The OP is entirely about stats n you keep bringing up cinematic achievement. You're in the wrong thread. 2 1

No one is failing to understand what a qualifier is. We're failing to understand why you think this achievement is purposely excluding Gaga when it was a thing before anybody knew who she was the fake outrage when several publications note very specific "qualifiers" when it comes to how films perform at the box office is crazy. You're annoyed Gaga isn't here. Just say that cbbxkdkkdkf 7
Miley Cyrus Posted Monday at 03:18 PM Posted Monday at 03:18 PM Miley couldve done this if PITUSA wasn't blocked
Roberto Posted Monday at 03:22 PM Posted Monday at 03:22 PM A legend. Can Gaga release the album before the year ends or something? So she can have this achievement too.

Ah, yes, the exceedingly rare qualifier of women, year, and country. Never seen on ATRL. This must be about Gaga. I don't see the Navy throwing a fit on here. 1

Mr. Duff Posted Monday at 04:39 PM Posted Monday at 04:39 PM To be honest she deserved the criticisms with how she handled her relationships BUT that does not define her, people make mistakes but we must be accountable for them and change for the better. I just hope moving forward she will know better. In terms of her ventures this year, she delivered. I'm really in awe of Wicked, she's a talented and brilliant actress. She deserves all the success. Her album is great too, I don't think its her best but definitely better than Positions. WCBF is also an excellent single. I think the cherry on top will be an Oscar nom.

Dula Peep Posted Monday at 06:42 PM Posted Monday at 06:42 PM Beyonce was in the Pink Panther? I thought she just did the song
LegaMyth Posted Monday at 07:07 PM Posted Monday at 07:07 PM Janet doing it in the same month (July) is insane. What makes it even more impressive is that she did it during 1993, which was an unbelievably competitive year in music and film. 1
