Holiday season slowed down Anti Hero after its release whereas the holiday season hasn't hit WCBF yet

Then just focus on Midnights' first 11 songs and see how fast ES can play catch up. I won't even bother you with the "if there were 12 less tracks on Midnights the 11 remaining would have gotten more streams".

I fear it might take it some time to get there...

Midnights vs. Eternal Sunshine Top 10 tracks:

1.7B - Anti-Hero (Midnights)

998M - we cant be friends (eternal sunshine)

852M - Karma (Midnights)

765M - Lavender Haze (Midnights)

711M - Midnight Rain (Midnights)

652M - You're On Your Own, Kid (Midnights)

589M - Bejeweled (Midnights)

525M - yes, and? (eternal sunshine)

495M - Maroon (Midnights)

455M - Snow On The Beach (Midnights)

435M - Vigilante **** (Midnights)

378M - Mastermind (Midnights)

361M - intro (end of the world) (eternal sunshine)

360M - the boy is mine (eternal sunshine)

181M - bye (eternal sunshine)*

157M - eternal sunshine (eternal sunshine)*

131M - supernatural (eternal sunshine)*

111M - dont wanna break up again (eternal sunshine)*

94M - true story (eternal sunshine)*

88M - i wish i hated you (eternal sunshine)*

*Earning less daily streams than Mastermind (Midnights' 10th biggest track) already

Anti Hero - #1 for 8 weeks on Hot 100 (53 weeks on chart)

WCBF - #1 for 1 week on the Hot 100 (24 weeks on chart) - currently serving OUT-OUT

So which one won after all? Anti Hero, released in October, had the streams dip a bit because of X-Mas season while WCBF was released in the spring so of course it had that advantage:suburban:

I dislike both songs especially with the weak and discontinuous melodies. But both did great numbers.

Autoplay exploded this year, that's why. Look at where AH was on AM global and where wcbf is now

eternal sunshine has 11 songs vs. midnights which has 23.

Okay let's compare standard editions then

Midnights standard edition: 13 tracks, 7,956,419,370 total streams, 4,462,671 daily streams
Eternal Sunshine standard edition: 13 tracks, 3,212,625,510 total streams, 5,679,374 daily streams

Surely Ms Grande will have no problem catching up now that the playing field is evened?

Love Anti-Hero but We Can't Be Friends just hits different (no pun intended) :chick3:

I'm not sure why a respectful post like this is getting downvoted

this is getting crazy with that cult

Swifties always being one flamebait thread away from becoming the most insufferable people around. No Ariana stan took the bait but all of them did :lakitu: and one can't even express a preference respectfully without being downvoted, never beating the cult allegations.

No, Taylor hasn't had a real hit since that Zayn collab.

Now girl....

I'm a certified OTH but Anti Hero was an undeniable smash. I didn't even know she had a duet with Zayn :deadbanana4:

Then what is Cruel Summer? Cuz if that isn't a hit, then Ariana doesn't have a single hit in her discography :suburban:

Oh… and they talk about Taylor being the frontloaded one when their fave is serving this :rip:

Arianators should worry about Ariana not having a single track with more than 33 weeks on chart, excluding her The Weeknd collabs (which were already big hits before she hopped on). Thank you Abel :bibliahh:

They were released 2 years apart and Spotify has grown since 2022 - year by year streams are increasing

The year end peaks tell the bigger story - Anti Hero had way higher peaks year end

As if it matters if a song spent 33 weeks on the charts when you have 18 songs with over a Billion streams on Spotify, get serious for a second. :1stplace:

I also think to have a record like "most songs with over a Billion streams" is a pretty cool one, a record where 16 out of 18 songs have nothing to do with The Weeknd collabs and a record where the amount of weeks don't matter (like it usually doesn't really matter outside of the Swifties-World). :sadviolin:

OP is still suffering from the era 30 :deadbanana4:

OT: as many have pointed out here WCBF is not bigger than AH, and by your logic, flowers is smaller than all the songs on this list

please just dont make any threads and comments again...you just embarrass yourself

Probably because Midnights as a whole did so much better compared to Eternal Sunshine that didn't really have legs outside of WCBF and 1st week of Yes, and? & The Boy Is Mine (album premiere).

THIS.

Anti-Hero was also competing with Lavender Haze, Midnight Rain, Maroon, Bejeweled, Karma and YOYOK at the time.

Both great songs though, and WCBF will have more longevity because, well, it's not competing with the full album. It's mostly the case with a lot of Taylor singles, which make them a lot more impressive.
