EndofASadMovie Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Holiday season slowed down Anti Hero after its release whereas the holiday season hasn't hit WCBF yet 2

I won't even bother you with the "if there were 12 less tracks on Midnights the 11 remaining would have gotten more streams". I fear it might take it some time to get there... Midnights vs. Eternal Sunshine Top 10 tracks: 1.7B - Anti-Hero (Midnights) 998M - we cant be friends (eternal sunshine) 852M - Karma (Midnights) 765M - Lavender Haze (Midnights) 711M - Midnight Rain (Midnights) 652M - You're On Your Own, Kid (Midnights) 589M - Bejeweled (Midnights) 525M - yes, and? TayDuaStan Posted November 5 Posted November 5 (edited) Anti Hero - #1 for 8 weeks on Hot 100 (53 weeks on chart) WCBF - #1 for 1 week on the Hot 100 (24 weeks on chart) - currently serving OUT-OUT So which one won after all? Anti Hero, released in October, had the streams dip a bit because of X-Mas season while WCBF was released in the spring so of course it had that advantage Edited November 5 by TayDuaStan 3 1 2
KKKIMO92 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I dislike both songs especially with the weak and discontinuous melodies. But both did great numbers.

ariananext Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Swifties always being one flamebait thread away from becoming the most insufferable people around. No Ariana stan took the bait but all of them did and one can't even express a preference respectfully without being downvoted, never beating the cult allegations. 5 8

naval23 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 They were released 2 years apart and Spotify has grown since 2022 - year by year streams are increasing The year end peaks tell the bigger story - Anti Hero had way higher peaks year end 2 1

Thank you Abel As if it matters if a song spent 33 weeks on the charts when you have 18 songs with over a Billion streams on Spotify, get serious for a second. I also think to have a record like "most songs with over a Billion streams" is a pretty cool one, a record where 16 out of 18 songs have nothing to do with The Weeknd collabs and a record where the amount of weeks don't matter (like it usually doesn't really matter outside of the Swifties-World). 1 2
hungrymuffin Posted November 6 Posted November 6 OP is still suffering from the era 30 OT: as many have pointed out here WCBF is not bigger than AH, and by your logic, flowers is smaller than all the songs on this list please just dont make any threads and comments again...you just embarrass yourself
Mr. Duff Posted November 6 Posted November 6 16 hours ago, halcyonday said: Probably because Midnights as a whole did so much better compared to Eternal Sunshine that didn't really have legs outside of WCBF and 1st week of Yes, and? & The Boy Is Mine (album premiere). THIS. Anti-Hero was also competing with Lavender Haze, Midnight Rain, Maroon, Bejeweled, Karma and YOYOK at the time. Both great songs though, and WCBF will have more longevity because, well, it's not competing with the full album. It's mostly the case with a lot of Taylor singles, which make them a lot more impressive.
