I can't believe that Hive member was just telling me yesterday that Britney's discography isn't iconic.

I think only Jennifer Lopez would be fully considered Gen X, with Shakira and P!nk being born near the cut off.

But I think moreso, this list is people who the millennial generation grew up with as their contemporary popstars.

Girl I'm a millennial and those artists were smashing when I was 3 and were all over by the time I had enough age to enjoy music :psyduck:

She has a few catchy and easy to listen songs that stream well but Beyonce has a stronger discography I think any critics would agree with that (Lemonade, Renaissance, Britney don't have that)

I say that personally enjoying Britney's hits more

Great to see Avril's top 2 not being forgotten (I'm with you deserves so much more)

Britney :clap3:

Beyonce needs to do something with her streaming, I think that all those years not being on spotify with her newer albums really set her behind

She's arguably the biggest legend in the list and her streaming stats is way lower for her status if Im honest

What is a millennial? Millennials were born between 1981 and 1996

Most of the millennials were teens or above, when those artists were smashing

Who are you referring to? Both Britney and Beyoncé's biggest songs were released in 2003.

Yes, and artists such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Taylor Swift are just as defining for millennials as the ones you have on the list (and actually much bigger).

Screaming at Xtina having that much playlist reach with those tragic streams :rip: You'd think she would be lower than Avril or J Lo.
