Have you heard the album? How do moments like Fortnight, My Boy, So High School, imgonnagetyouback or The Alchemy sound like loml, Smallest Man, Cassandra, The Manuscript or How Did It End? It's one thing to not enjoy it but 31 versions of the same song? Rly?

OT: Lover without a shadow of a doubt

If u heard the album u would see why it's 31 versions of the same song. When listening to it the first few times I remember wondering if track 1 ever ended and I was 8 tracks in :cm:

It's funny that Lover was so lackluster to me back then...but looking at these choices both other albums are worse :rip:

Yes Lover has Me and You Need To Calm Down but its highs are higher than anything on the other 2 albums and Taylor could still give us good music, with decent melodies instead of reading letters to us with a beat on the background barely assembling songs like she does now.

This is so so easy for me. TTPD has to go.

It has a few really great highlights (TSMWEL, Guilty As Sin, So High School, SL,L). But the rest is extremely bloated and like 80% skips. While I can get through Lover and Midnights in full with only 2-3 skips.

It'd be sad to see Cruel Summer go, but Lover in a heartbeat :giraffe:

I can't live without Miss Americana, DBATC, False God, CS, TA, LB, Cornelia Street, Afterglow, and Daylight. :jonny5:

NOW THAT IS TASTE. Cruel Summer is the best song of her career and her biggest hit.

I voted Midnights but could also go with Lover....Midnights is more consistent, but Lover has higher highs (and lower lows).

TTPD gets way too much flack, I feel like it was a bit of a bandwagon opinion when it came out and people haven't given it a fair shot.  It's long and not for the casual fans, but it's kind of turned out to be one of my favorite Taylor albums.

all 3 in my bottom 5 taylor albums, but i'd delete Midnights because TTPD and even Loser have higher highs (and just ignore the lows)
Midnights is just MID overall, wont ever listen to the full album ever again anyways
But definitely a close call between Midnights and Loser :giraffe:

People saying TTPD is the same 31 songs is funny to me. They're really showing how they are talking **** about the album without ever listening to it and just blindly following whatever stan twitter is telling them (or that they have an audition deficit idk).

Torture Borefest Department should've never happened, it doesn't deserve 1/10 of its success. Covers no new ground for her musically or lyrically and each track is like a lackluster version of a previous song she's done. It's bloated, repetitive and the the production does nothing for the songs. Genuinely the only impressive thing about it are the stats.
