Scarlet needed to be done in order for the industry to take her as a real artist. not just another pop artist that comes and goes.

and now that she cemented that. i agree it's time to make more hits.

I kinda view Scarlet as her "4" and now her self-titled is coming.

People thought Beyonce was such a flop with "4" but now it all sonically makes sense given what she did with the albums afterwards.  I believe The Dream called it a "turning the corner" album…a setup for what's to come.

I believe the same will happen for Doja.

An album that sounds like Streets and Agora Hills would be a sonic EXPERIENCE :jonnycat:

Love Scarlet down, wouldn't be mad if she continued playing with that sound down the line, but I'm glad she's back to embracing all sides of her artistry again. Her versatility and genre bending is her super power. Looks like she stopped letting the noise from trolls and haters get to her head about not being a rapper, people who were never going to give her credit or her flowers no matter what and for that alone, we cheered.
